When I woke up the next morning I was in for a huge lecture of mum.
Last night I had no idea Tom was waiting outside the arena and he had tried calling but after I received brads DM I put my phone on silent and hadn't heard toms calls come through.
We didn't leave the arena until almost 1 and Tom surprisingly was still outside and he was pretty pissed at me but he can't give out to me cause he is not my dad.
Luckily mum was asleep by the time we came home but she's definitely going to make up for last nights lecture.
I looked over to Leanne's set up bed to see she was still asleep so I decided if mums gonna give out to me I may aswell get it done and over with before Leanne wakes up.
With a sigh I mentally prepared myself and walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where my mum was sat at the dining table doing a crossword.
She heard me enter the room and looked around at me
"I just wanna say I'm sorry for last night I didn't know Tom was outside the arena" I said before she could say anything
"Rach what are you on about?"
"What I thought-"
"What Rachel means is she went out the other entrance and got the bus home" Tom quickly added as he entered the room
"Em yeah I didn't know Tom was waiting for me" I lied
" as long as Tom is okay with it I am" too" she smiled
I gave an awkward nod and I flashed Tom a thankful smile.
He gave a small nod and walked back into the sitting room whilst I ran upstairs to Leanne who was sat on my bed on her phone.
"How long have you been awake?" I asked sitting on my bed beside her
She smiled and looked as if she was contemplating on telling me something
"Actually I woke up to Connor calling me.." She bit her lip to stop her smiling
"What?!?" I exclaimed excitedly
"Yeah get ready were meeting them in 2 hours!!" She announced in excitement
