That night when I got home I was sitting on my bed going through Instagram lazily while Leanne on the other hand was still texting Connor.
I don't want Leanne getting her hopes up too much about her and Connor ever having a thing cause she's just going to be let down and hurt, didn't she take the hints tonight?
"Connor is so cute aww he said I'm really pretty look!" Leanne cooed shoving her phone in my face which I swatted away harshly
"What's wrong with you!" She said taken aback by my gesture
"Lea stop getting your hopes up con will never date you nor will Brad ever date me! It's just in our heads we are just stupid fangirls can't you see that!!" I snapped
Leanne looked hurt and taken back by my outburst but if I don't knock the reality into her who else will?
"Rachel can't you have some hope? Just because you've lost all faith doesn't mean to say I have!" She fired back at me
"No Leanne I don't want you getting your hopes up to be let down! I just don't want you to get hurt!"
Leanne sighed and locked her phone , she sat infront of me cross legged resting her elbow on her legs and her head on her hand.
"What are we like" she chuckled
"We should be grateful we even talk to them I suppose.." She said
I nodded in agreement.
I felt bad on Leanne cause I know how much she likes Connor.
"Wait Leanne?" I piped up remembering something
"Yeah?"
"Don't you have a boyfriend? What about drew.?"
Leanne looked down at her hands
"He broke up with me" she mumbled
"What when?"
"A few days before I came here"
"I'm so sorry, why didn't you tell me.?" I asked
"Because I thought if I forgot about him and enjoyed myself it'd be easier..it kinda has been" she smiled weakly
I gave her a small hug as I'm no good with comforting talk so I changed the subject
"Wanna watch movies?"
