" Chapter 10"

Today is the day I start my new school, I can't stop tapping my foot in the front seat of toms car.
I've grown to kind of like him he's a tiny bit annoying but for now he's tolerable.
"You'll be fine my nieces and nephews went to this school"
Tom assured me as we pulled up outside the gates.
"Okay" I said opening the door
"Will I pick you up?" He asked.
I can't blame the man for trying so I agreed he pick me up.
"Bye Tom" I smiled giving him a small wave
"Good luck"
I thanked him quickly and start walking Into the school.

I looked around for my first class English.
It says I'm in room 4H but I have no idea where that is.
The halls was completely empty and I was lost.great.
I didn't even know where the office was so I could ask where my class is.
I heard talking coming from the corridor and I saw a boy with brown hair styled in a quiff, he was talking on the phone until he saw me he said goodbye and hung up.
"Hey" he smiled flashing off his perfectly white teeth.
"Hello" I muttered shyly
"You new here?" I nodded
"Let me guess your completely lost and you are super happy I'm here to help you out?"
I let out a small laugh
"Spot on"
He laughed shaking his head
"So where you supposed to be?" He asked coming over to me looking down at my timetable
"English in 4H?"
"Follow me, I'm supposed to be there too"
I followed him along the corridors
"So why aren't you In your class?" I asked nosily
"Long story" he smiled
We approached the class room and..what's his name walked in first me following closely behind
"Jake your late again!" The teacher yelled at jake
"Sorry miss but I found the new girl and I was helping her find the class" he explained looking behind him at me.
"Sit down jake" the teacher instructed him.
"You must be Rachel yes?" She asked motioning for me to come further into the class.
I nodded
"Class meet Rachel she's new here so be nice"
My face was probably as red as a tomato right now.
"Sit beside jake seems as you sort of know him"
I walked shyly down to the back of the class to sit next to jake
"I hope you don't mind" I whispered
"No, I'm actually really okay with it" he smiled sending a small wink.
