I saw a warm smile on a boy with the most beautiful olive-brown hair.

Why does he somehow look familiar?

"Sorry for asking...but is it okay if you sit on that chair instead?"

He says pointing at the chair in front of the one I was planning to sit at the corner.

"Hm..? Why?"

"I plan on letting a friend sit there.." He says as he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Oh, uh yeah, no problem."

"Thank you!" He says smiling at me with his eyes closed.

"Oh..uh...yeah..sure."

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO AWKWARD..??

Soon after that, we lined up to go the opening ceremony. It was pretty boring, so I decided to escape reality and closed my eyes.

They have a pool. That's reason enough. Plus that guy a while ago was pretty cute, too.

"Ummm..hello?"

The familiar voice alarmed me and made me stop my little daydream.

"Yeah..?"

"We're going back to the room."

"Oh, haha, right, silly me.."

"I'm Tachibana Makoto! Nice to meet you!"

Makoto? Have I heard this name before?

Startled at the sudden introduction, I stuttered.

"O-Oh..I-I'm (L/N) (F/N). Nice to..meet you too."

"Let's go to the classroom?"

I nodded my head "yes" and followed him to the room.

As we went inside, the teacher asked me to step in front and introduce myself.

Oh gosh..this is the part I always hated about being a new student.

I walked in front and tilted my head down. I didn't plan on making eye contact with anybody. Until I caught Makoto looking at me. I decided that I would just stare at his green orbs for the rest of the introduction.

"I'm Miho Amakata! Your new homeroom teacher." She says as she looks at the class and smiles at me.

She then turns around and writes my name on the board.

And signals me to start.

"H-Hi everyone..I'm (L/N) (F/N). Nice to meet all of you.."

"Aww..how cute!" Says Ms. Amakata as I rush back to my seat.

"Let's have a good year together, (L/N)- chan!" Makoto says as I sit down.

"Y-Yeah.." I say as I place my head on the desk.

The whole day was really boring. But I was glad that I was able to make friends with Makoto. He asked me to eat lunch with him, and of course I accepted. He just asked me a few questions. Not too personal. Until he said something.

"Umm..(L/N)-chan-"

"Just call me (F/N)-chan. No need to be so formal." I say with a small smile.
