It took maybe three hours to make a list of eight possible colleges I could attend in Florida. To me, the best one was University of Florida...mostly because it was only an hour and 45 minutes from home, but also because the teaching program was amazing! I hadn't made an official decision, of course, but the odds were definitely in favor of that particular college.

I had to work Monday, but I took off Tuesday and Wednesday for our trip to Disney World. I was super excited for that. I hadn't been to Disney in years, and now I was finally getting to go back!

We had a two-day pass, and we planned to spend one of the days at Magic Kingdom, because it was my favorite, and the other at Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.

I made sure to rest up on Monday night, because there would be lots of walking to do the next day. Then in the morning I ate the healthiest breakfast I could find, and drank lots of water.

I wore my old Mickey Mouse shirt, black high-waisted shorts, and tennis shoes. Even my earrings were shaped like Mickey. It was time to get this show on the road!

I met Jonny outside and smiled as soon as I saw him. We were both wearing gray Mickey Mouse shirts! But he paired his with khaki shorts and red high-top Converse. "Aren't your feet gonna hurt in those?" I asked as we walked to his car.

"They're the only good walking shoes I have," he explained.

"Ah. Well we should get a picture, since we match."

"Yeah, sure." He took out his phone and I moved closer to him in the passenger seat so I could be seen in the camera. We snapped a selfie and were on our way.

"Today is gonna be so fun. I can't wait."

"The fun has already begun-Hey, that rhymed!"

I rolled my eyes. "You're so cheesy, ya know that?"

"Cheesy is the best kind of funny," Jonny insisted.

"That sounds like a quote."

"Well, props to my brain for coming up with it, then."

We high-fived.

"So where does Denver live? I forgot," Jonny said as we drove out of the neighborhood.

"Like ten minutes away. I'll just tell you when to turn."

"Okay." He kept driving, and after a few minutes, he turned on the radio. "I feel like we should be listening to Disney music."

"We should." I took out my phone and turned on Spotify. 'Under the Sea' started playing and we sang along.

Soon, we reached Denver's house. He looked hot-and by that, I mean warm-in his black Mickey Mouse T shirt and jeans. "Are you trying to sweat to death?" I asked him, half-teasing.

"Well, I-"

"Don't mind her, she's just being a fashion police!" Jonny called from the car.

Denver laughed, then explained, "I don't have a lot of shorts. They haven't been in season."

"Well that will have to be fixed, young man. I can't have you dying of heatstroke at Disney World!"

"I promise I'll stay hydrated, Mom," he said sarcastically. "Come on, let's go."

We got in the backseat, leaving Jonny in the front by himself. "Hey, now I'm all alone," he said with a pouty face.

"Suck it up, buttercup," I told him, but I smiled at him through the rearview mirror so he'd know I was kidding. I did feel kinda bad for leaving him all by himself up there.
