That's a good idea, break a promise to your mother

Turn around your back on each other
You say that I've changed
Well maybe I did
But even if I changed
What's wrong with it

**Alex's POV**

We ate, and soon the group of winners was leaving the room, and going to the main room. Madam M was waiting for us, and she led us to this room with couches. We all  sat down and started to talk.

We all introduced ourselves. The girl who I had talked too was named Betheny. Betheny was sent here by some rich guy who she had just gotten sold too. The other girls didn't talk much, but they asked me a lot of questions right away.

"Are you really from the King?:

"Yes," I said, "He kidnapped me."

"From the overworld?"

"We were at a summer camp. Everyone went there, and on the first night the King's men struck. They came in with guns and took a whole bunch of us. None of us knew what was happening, it was so scary."

"What's summer camp?"

I laughed, "Summer Camp is a place that you go in the summer. It's warm and amazingly fun. You meet new people sleep in a cabin or a tent. You learn so much. You go swimming in lakes and ponds, you do art and you play games. Every night everyone in the camp gets together and you all sing songs around the campfire, and have skits. You roast marshmallows and make smores. Sometimes you make hotdogs over the fire. It's so much fun." Tears came out of my eyes, I would never go to another summer camp. I was going to be stuck here forever, and even if I did get out, I would never go to Camp Bird ever again.

I got up and went to my room, none of the girls stopped me, which I was happy about. I laid down on my bed, and stopped myself from crying.

I couldn't break down now, I was going to go back to the castle and find Jace once again. I would help him as much as he needed, I was ready to be free.
