 I just wanna run

I'm out here all alone

I try to call your house

Can't reach you on the phone

I'll gather up the nerve

I'm packing up my bag

It's more than you deserve

Don't treat me like a drag

~The Downtown Friction I just Wanna Run

**Alex's POV**

"Come on guys," I said, clutching the Jake Daniels in my hand, I grabbed Cayla's hand, pulling her over to on of the big clearings in the woods. It was well hidden, and far from the cabins, no one would here us.

I heard the part before I saw it. Music was blaring, and lights were lights all over. I grinned smelling alcohol and weed. There was smoke in the air, and cheers raising from the group of teens.

"Alex," called a familiar voice, a new consular names Ben appeared in front of me.

"Hey," I said, "I didn't think that you'd come now that you're a consular."

"And miss a chance to hang out with all of you guys? Not likely," he told me.

I smirked at him, and he grinned back. He had always like me, maybe not like a crush, but like he wanted to get in my pants kind of way. I swayed to the music standing in front of him.

Ben grinned at me, as I grabbed his arms, pulling his hands on my hips.

"Oh you wanna dance," he said.

"Of course," I said, and I was quickly pulled to him. We dance for two songs, me pulled against him, before I broke away, going to get a drink.

Pixie and Cayla had disappeared from my sight, but I didn't think that they would leave. Two hours passed when we started to leave. Some teens had seen some consular wandering our way, we didn't want to get caught so we made our way back to the cabins.

"Did you have fun," I asked, when I found Cayla and Pixie.

"Yes," said Cayla, she was twitching a little, making me think that she had been drinking. I was buzzed, but nothing serious.

Pixie looked happy, but didn't say anything. Her hair was messy, and her lipstick was smugged. I grinned at her, and she a light pink blush crept up her face.

We snuck back into our cabin, and settled down into our cots. I couldn't sleep with the alcohol buzzing in my system, but I knew that Cayla and Pixie had both fallen asleep.

I stayed quiet my thoughts consuming me, until I heard the door open. I was confused, knowing that all of the girls were here in the cabin. I heard footsteps enter the door by me, and I peeked over seeing three men.

I scream rose to my throat, but I kept it contained as they started to talk to each other.

"10 girls," said one man chuckling, "Is this the last group then?"

"Yup," said another man, "We just need to get all the girls in the van, without walking up cabins near by. We can't risk getting caught now."

Fear shot through me. They were going to kidnap us, they were going to shove us into a van.

"Wake up children," whispered a man, and then I heard a noise that I knew. It was the sound of a gun being turned off safety.
