**Jace's POV**

I came back to my senses knowing that the green liquid that had been injected in me had run out. I signed in relief and felt tears on my cheeks.

The last hour or two had been filled with more awful dreams. I still felt the pain on my side where I had been shot. Matt come into my limited view and unstrapped me from the chair, pulling me to my feet. I collapsed onto the ground.

Everything running through my head. I had been shot twice, I had shot Lisa and Reb, and I had raped Cayla. I knew that none of it was real but I was disgusted with myself.

I was ran over with a car, chased by guards, and I bowed down the the King, willingly doing everything that he had been saying.

Matt laughed, and pulled me up roughly dragging me back to the room I had been sleeping in. We were all most there when footsteps came over to Matt, and he stopped, dropping me.

I looked up to see a guard with curly brown hair there, looking at Matt.

"Hello, Harry," said Matt, scowling, "Tell the King that the machine had been tested and it does work."

"And this is the man who you tested it on," asked Harry gesturing to me.

"And you disobeyed the King," said Harry, angrily.

"Yes, but," scrambled Matt.

"No buts," said Harry, "You are downgraded once again, we are all very disapionted in you." Harry turned to me as Matt flushed in anger looking like he was going to kill someone. "Who is this?"

"This is some twit who snuck in as a guard," said Matt.

"Was he checked in and approved by the King," asked Harry.

"No," said Matt, "I was filling out the forms."

"Sure you where," said Harry, "Well then, I will be taking him into my custody."

Matt screamed in anger and kicked me in the gut. I cried out, and protected myself. All I wanted to do was fall asleep.

"You are dismissed," said Harry. Matt walked away, and looked down at me, and reached out a hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me to my feet.

I groaned and leaned against the wall for support, holding my stomach.

"Are you okay," asked Harry.

I groaned in reply.

"Come with me." I followed Harry, slowly following since I still didn't have any strength. Soon I was by the back entrance of the castle. 

He opened the door and pushed me out gently.

"If I were you," he said, "I would go home and disappeared. Don't come back." He shut the door.

"Thanks," I said though he couldn't here me. 

And I wandered home.
