And if we should die tonight
Then we should all die together
Raise a glass of wine for the last timeCalling out father oh
Prepare as we will
Watch the flames burn auburn on
The mountain side
Desolation comes upon the skyNow I see fire
Inside the mountain
I see fire
Burning the trees
And I see fire
Hollowing souls
I see fire
Blood in the breeze
And I hope that you remember me

** King's POV **

"Bring me Alex," I commanded to the guard that was just outside my room. He nodded and scampered off. I felt back for what I had done, but I put it behind me. Know I just needed an answer, I had asked her about the offer almost a week ago, and I still had no answer.

There was a part of me that thought she would say no, but another part snickered and laughed. Once Alexandria knew what I had dangling over her head, she would say yes. I wished that Alex would say yes on her own, but I would encourage her If I needed too.

A grin worked it's way over my face as I thought of Alex. She was truly beautiful, she had a perfect body, and sass that turned me on. Watching her melt down on her security camera was so hot, her anger made me hard. The only thing better would be her begging for me, which she soon would.

Once I told her that she would bow down, and do anything that I would say, and I could feel that time coming to life. Soon Alex would be completely mine, and she would know it. I would have the girl forever as my own, and everyone would see.

Maybe she would be the one to make a heir, maybe she would be that one to make the next in line for the throne.

"King," said a guard, interupting my thoughts.

"Yes," I asked angrily.

"Alex isn't in her room," he said.

"What," I asked, "She has to be, where else would she go."

"I'm not sure," said the guard, "She wasn't in the Kitchen or the slave quarters."

I stood up, walking out of my chambers quickly. The guard followed me as I walked down the stairs and into Alex's room, which was empty.

"Damn it," I swore. She couldn't have gone far, and she most certainly couldn't have left the palace. She mustn't have slept in her room, since I had it locked every night.

"Search the palace for her, starting on the lower levels are working up," I told the guard. I walked away before he answered, but I knew he would do my bidding, and if he didn't, he would be sorry. I walked to the hospital a large lap around the floor, asking anyone if they had seen Alexandria. The only person who said yes was Landon.

"She was here last night," he told me, figiting nervously. "She wanted something to help her sleep."

"And then where did she go," I asked, stepping closer to Landon. He quickly backed up.

"She talked about exploring the upper levels of the castle," said Landon, "She found the elevator."

I nodded at Landon and left, finding the elevator myself. I got it, and knew where Alexandria would be. I pressed the S and waited for the elevator to move.

The door opened, and I left, finding the nearest guard.

"I need to see Lana's room," I said.

"Uh, the girl from the overland," asked the guard.

"Yes," I said.

"I'lll show you the way."

I followed the man down a series of hallways until he stopped. He nodded at the door, and said
"Here you are."

I ignored him, and opened the door, that was only locked on the inside. I grinned as I saw Alexandria laying on the bed. She looked over and tensed as she saw me.

"Hello," I said, bowing mockingly.

She looked over at me, trying to hide her emotions. She failed as I saw the fear, and anger hidden deep within her eyes. I tried to forget that I had cause all of that. I looked over her, seeing a hicky on her neck, and bruises on her arms.

A shot of guilt ran through me, but I pushed it away and said, "Let's talk."
