And we could be together, baby

As long as skys are blue,

You act so innocent now,

But you lied so soon,

When I  meet you in the summer

 *Harry's POV*

"Heard a girl stood up to you," I said, chuckling at the thought. The King was a man that scared most women. Most people stayed in line around him, even the people that he considered friends.

"I took care of it," said the King, scratching the back of his neck, "She didn't really stand up to me." I hadn't been there when it had happened, but I had heard stories of the King punishing a young girl, they spread stories of how hot she was.

"What did you do," I asked.

" I used  a metal whip," said the King, moving his spiny chair to face me.

"How did she react," I asked. Most of the overworlders were weak, they couldn't take a mild punishment.

"She passed out at the fourth hit," said the King.

I nodded, that sounded about right. She passed out from the shock and pain.

"Who was the girl," I asked, wondering if I would see her around.

"Just some overworlder," said the King dismissively, he seemed to think about he for a second. "Her name was Alex."

"Is she as hot as everyone said," I asked the King, a grin coming to my face. I expected the King to grin like me, and joke about he, but he didn't. The King was quiet for a minute, complementing my question.

The king seemed tired of all the bullshit going on. He seemed like a heartless killer, but he did care. It was hard being king, being the ruler of an unknown place, all alone, so I gave him a break.

"I'm going to take that as a yes," I told him winking.

"I have work to do," said the King suddenly. He motioned to the door, and my grin slipped. The King noticed but didn't say anything.

"Goodnight King," I said standing up, I left his office, and then left the King's chambers all together. I slowly walked down the stairs outside of his room, pausing at the door at the base of the stairs.

I wondered if the room would soon be filled. I hoped so, I hoped that it would make the King happy. He did was a whole new group of girls to choose from now.

I looked way from the door, walking towards my destination. Soon I was standing gin front of the hospital. I shouldered the heavy door, squinting in the bright florescent lighting. I walked through the main hallway, entering the first door on the right.

"Hey Landon," I said.

"Hey Harry," said Landon. He was focused on a teenage girl laying face down on a check up table. The girl looked young, maybe 16 or 17. The girl was only wearing a bra, exposing her back. It was covered in mostly dried blood with long gashes cut out.

The girl moved her head to the side to look at me. Her eyes were glazed, like she had just woken up, and I suddenly knew who she was.

"Hello Alex," I said, nodding to the girl. She looked surprised that I knew her name, but didn't say anything.

"You're here for more pill," said Landon.

"Yeah," I told him, "They aren't helping as much so I started taking more."

Landon sighed, fixing his glasses, "That's not good Harry."

"I know," I said looking down at my shoes, "But I can't help it."

"I know," said Landon, "We can get your pills after I clean her back."

I grimaced, "Poor girl."

The girl looked at me again.

"It hurts pretty bad when it's cleaned out," I told her.

"Yeah," said Landon, "It does, but the King ordered that we clean it so that there be no scars, and this is what we have to do. If we don't clean it, it won't heal properly, it will get an infection.

Landon picked up a clear bottle and a washcloth. Landon opened the bottle, and drenched the washcloth with the liquid.

"You have to hold still," Landon told the girl. Slowly Landon let the washcloth touch one of the girls cuts.

The girl immediately tried to pull away. I knew that she would feel an awful stinging pain, and soon that stinging would be burning. It would feel like he back was being set on fire.

The girl was soon crying and squirming around.

"Need help," I asked Landon.

"If you could," said Landon, trying to clean the girls back. I walked in front of Alex, and placed my hands on shoulder blades where there were no cuts. I held her still as Landon cleaned her back.

The girl clawed at me trying to get free, but I kept a tight grip on her. She was sobbing, and making awful pained noises, but soon Landon was done.

"Make sure she stays here," said Landon. He left the room, and soon came back with a bottle of pills.

"Thank you," I told Landon, before popping 4 pills in my mouth, and making my way back to my room.
