"Dale?" Evan repeated.

"Yes. Since soon you will be dead, I will let you call me that."

"What do you mean, "Since soon you will be dead"?" Dale laughed. "Let me explain."

"I am, let's say, the final challenger. "My soul purpose is to capture the true Maze Solver and torture them until they tell me answer to the maze. They I kill them. It's tradition! My Granddad and my Dad tortured people...But I will finally solve that Maze!" There was a insane look in his eye as he said this.

"Let me guess, I'm the true Maze solver." "Yes, Evan Fong, you are. But, no more questions! I wan't to savour this as much as I can..." He leaned in close and whispered the last part in Evan's ear.

Before Evan could try to delay the inevitable, Dale's  eyes started glowing and with a flick of his wrist he broke the chains and sent Evan flying towards the wall. He hit it with a bang, crying out in painful surprise. He held Evan up and some kind of force glued him to the wall.

"Oh, I can use lightning, teleportation, telekinesis, hammerspace, super speed and super strength, so don't go thinking this will be a walk in the park!" He had that same, insane glow in his eyes. For the first time in his adult life, Evan was scared.

Without warning, he slashed all over Evan's body with knife that came out of nowhere. White hot pain erupted across his skin. Evan screamed in agony. Dale punched him in face. "What is the answer?!" He demanded. "I..I..don't know..." Evan choked out. It was true, he didn't. Dale proceeded to stab him, electrocute him, punch and kick him, only stopping to ask the answer to the maze.

Delirious P.O.V

"AHHHHHHH!"

"What the fuck was that?!" Wildcat asked.

I already knew.

"It Evan you idiot! Come on!" I said as I ran off. The other were only one step behind me. "STOP! PLEASE!" My heart leaped ever time I heard Evan scream. The torture has started.

We arrived at a door at the very end of the last hallway. I took a deep breath as Evan screamed again.

I opened the door and ran in.

"STOP!" I cried.

A figure, who I assumed was Dale, turned around. He smiled evilly and stepped aside.

Evan laid on the wall. His shirt and jacket had been ripped up and thrown aside. He was absolutely covered in blood and his eyes and parts of his skin were turning purple. I noticed that on the side of his head there was a small device. He was breathing heavily and he looked that he was about to go in to a coma.

He lifted his head very weakly and opened on of his swollen eyes. "J-Jonathan?" He asked very weakly.

"Shut up you fool!" Dale punched him in the jaw.

That was the final straw.

I screamed and launched a water nuke at him. It sent him flying towards the wall but he recovered quickly. I launched my self into a fist fight with him.

Terroriser threw knives at him but he sent them flying back at him with a flick of his free wrist he wasn't trying to pummel me with.

It was a full on war.

Everyone launched everything they got at him but he deflected everything. He finally knocked me back and at that same moment launched a huge lightning bolt at me. Firestorm blocked it by trapping it in fire. Then she tried to wrap him in fire but as soon as the flames hit him he teleported. I got up quickly as two huge sabre tooth tigers pounced on Dale. Moo and Avalan! I thought.
