Milo (Your Sons Name)- 16

Your P.O.V.You woke up with a massive stomachache and your head was pounding. You look over, expecting to see your loving husband but he isn't there. All that's there is a note that says he had to be at the studio early for a new song they were recording. You slowly climbed out of the sweat covered sheets, your limbs ached as you let out a distraught cough and made your way across the bedroom to your closet to get changed out of your sticky clothes. You peeled off your clothes replacing them with a pair of sweats and a long black t-shirt. You were going to lay down to see if it would help your gurgling, aching stomach when you heard a sob coming from your son Milos room. You moved as fast as you could without tweaking your stomach, making it over to Milo's room. You turned the doorknob and opened the door to see that Milo wasn't in bed, he was on the floor gagging into a waistbucket. You didn't say a word as you stood behind Milo as he dry heaved for 10 minutes, rubbing his back and wrapping a towel around his neck. He finally stopped and leaned away from the waistbucket, leaning back onto the foot of his bed.
" Are you feeling any better Milo?" You asked, your stomach still churning but you couldn't show it in front of him. He was your main priority.
" N-no, I just woke up and felt cold even though I was sweating, my arms ache, my throat hurts, I'm extremely congested, my head is pounding, and my stomach won't stop churning." Milo said, rubbing his stomach trying to soothe the churning.
" It's alright Milo, how about you go and lie down while I go clean this. I'll go grab you some water and tablets and a thermometer. Is there anything else I can get you while I'm up?" You asked, your voice wavering as your throat and stomach began to act up.
" A-a heating pad would be great, thanks Mum." He said, slowly but surely moving towards his bed.
" Your welcome, I'll be right back." You said, grabbing the sick filled waistbucket and washing it out before closing his door and making your way downstairs, your legs aching with every step. You walked towards the downstairs lou and found the tablets and heating pad. You walked back towards the kitchen, popping the heating pad into the microwave as you got Milo's glass of water. When it was done you walked back upstairs and found the thermometer in your lou and walked back into his room and shutting the door quietly behind you. Milo was curled up in a ball in the middle of the bed, hands clutching his stomach as he let out a small whimper.
" Milo? Could you straighten out for me so I can place the heating pad on your stomach?" You asked quietly and gently, trying not to increase his headache. He uncurled himself and laid on his back facing towards the ceiling. You placed the heating pad on his bare stomach and helped him with the tablets before checking his temperature. It read 102.3 Fahrenheit ( I don't know Celsius), you rushed towards his lou, grabbing a washcloth and wetting it with cool water before wringing most of it out and setting it on Milo's forehead. As you did, you felt immense amount of pain in your stomach, you winced slightly hoping Milo didn't see.
" Um Mum, are you alright?" Milo asked concerned, sitting up slightly.
" I'm.... I am fine... Reall-" Your voice stopped as you began to sway uncontrollably.
" No you're not Mum. Sit down before you fall." Said Milo with a worried tone.
" I'm fine Milo, I'm fin- Oh no..." You stopped mid sentence, bolting towards your sons lou and dry heaving before everything you had last night came back up. Milo stumbled towards you, placing a comforting hand on your back.
