Your P.O.V.

I grabbed my stuff out of my locker and shut it. I took my phone out and unlocked it, then looked at my messages to see Austin still hasn't texted me back. My boyfriend hadn't been in first period and I, being curious, had texted him. No response. So I just walked home and dropped my stuff off. Then I ran across the street to Austin's house. I let myself in and ran up to Austin's room. I scanned his room to find he was asleep and his phone was on his nightstand. Has he been ignoring me?

I picked up his phone and sure enough my message was on the screen. I felt anger start to boil inside me, that was until I heard Austin cough really hard as he shifted in his bed. He was now facing me and I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to see if he was ok. A few seconds later his eyes shot open and his arm flew up to his face.

"Hepshoo! Hepshoo! Hepshoo! Heh...heh...HEPSH!"

"Bless you."

"Oh hey y/n", he said, his voice cracking.

He kind of smiled, well tried to.

"Are you feeling ok", I asked, putting my hand on his forehead.

It was really warm.

"No", he answered after a while.

He looked up at me with warm, glossy eyes. Yup he was definitely sick. He started coughing to confirm it.

"Oh I thought you had just been ignoring me", I said under your breath.

He sat up quickly, "What?! No, never! I love you princess!"

This made my heart drop. Here I was thinking my boyfriend was ignoring me when he was sick.

"H-have you been sleeping all day?"

He nodded, then sniffled and rubbed the sleep out of his eye. So damn adorable.

"Oh I'm sorry babe", I said.

"It's ok, nothing's gonna stop me from loving you."

"I love you too."

He grabbed a tissue and stared at the ceiling.

"Huh," his breathing hitched.

It kept doing that until finally he gasped heavily.

"HEPSHOO! HEPSHOO!"

He sniffled and then coughed.

"Bless you," I said.

"Thanks."

"Yea."

"So...what did you do in first period?"

"Miss you."

"Yea but what else?"

"Sleep."

"I should've known, you always sleep in class."

"Not my fault that Ms. Steinway is boring."

He laughed and then started coughing. I could hear the phlegm moving around in his chest.

"You should get some more rest. Have you had any medicine?"

"I've been asleep all day," he groaned, "And no."

"Where is it?"

"In the cabinet."

"Ok."

I went and got it, then brought it back to him. I poured the right dosage and handed him the cup of syrup.

"Ew did you grab the cherry one?"

"That's all you have."

"Ok."
