Max's P.O.V.
So today is EvilCon and I know just how to get myself out of school. I could just use weapons but that would be boring. I like a little excitement. I'm going to pretend to be sick. Those bozos will never know and they'll do anything for me. Just when they go to have alone time is when I'll sneak out.
I pretended to cough as loudly as I could and as soon as I started, I heard footsteps. My mom came down the stairs.
"Max are you alright," my mom asked and flipped the lights on.
"Ahh turn them off," I cried.
"Sorry," she turned them back off, "Are you alright?"
"No. I don't feel good, my body hurts and I'm coughing a lot. I barely got any sleep."
I pretended to cough loudly again.
"Oh my poor baby. Stay home today and get some rest. Yell if you need something."
"Thanks mom."
I pretended to cough as her footsteps faded away.
"You're lying," Dr. Colosso shouted.
"Well duh, do you know what today is?"
"EvilCon, the best place to be."
"Exactly so why would I go to school? I'm going to EvilCon."
"Oo nice."
I felt my phone vibrate. It was a message from Allison.

Can't wait for tonight
Oh yea I was supposed to take her out and walk her home. I looked at my watch. Oh no EvilCon is starting soon. I grabbed my pranking stuff and went up the stairs. I walked through the kitchen and was about to go out the door.
"Maximus Octavius Thunderman, you're supposed to be in bed young man," my mom's voice boomed.
I knocked something off the shelf and when I went to pick it up, I realized I had knocked off the pepper. My nose started to itch and burn. My eyes half closed and my mouth opened as my breathing hitched.
"Max are you ok?"
"Hushoo! Hushoo! Hushoo! HUSHOO!"
I ended up almost falling over, but I caught myself. Stupid pepper.
"Bless you. You sound like you're getting worse, you should get back to bed."
I sighed and went back towards my lair. Once she was out of sight I made a dash for it. As soon as I was outside, I felt like I was being electrocuted.
"I knew you weren't really sick, you don't cough that lightly."
"You know my cough?"
That's weird.
"Yes I do and I know that you freeze and melt things when you're sick. Now get ready for school."
I stomped down to my room and got my stuff. My mom took me to the horrid place known as school. I got yelled at by Bradford most of the day and then went home. I took an evil nap. What is an evil nap? Oh shut up, it's evil ok. When I woke up it was time to go get Allison.
I got dressed in a nice outfit and then took her out to eat, then to a movie. After that I walked her home.
"Goodnight," I said with a smile.
"Night Max."
She kissed me and then went inside. I smiled and then started walking. Not even a minute later, it started pouring. Oh no, I'm not dressed for rain. I started running and I made it home in 15 minutes.
