Your P.O.V.
My mom and I had just moved here, in La Vernia, from Michigan. I was unpacking the rental moving truck that my mom drove. Just earlier this morning, about twelve hours ago, we had left Michigan and I had my arm on the door of the passenger seat, falling asleep. We got here an hour ago because we had stopped a lot to eat and get gas.
I grabbed a box and started walking into the house. Our new house was pretty big and it had a pool in the backyard. Yes! I dropped the box inside and went back out for another box. I looked to see a boy walking up the street. I felt myself stare at him, trying to see if he was cute. I grabbed the box, my eyes not leaving him. I started taking it inside and then turned my head to watch the boy again. All of a sudden, he dropped on the concrete.
I dropped my box and ran rigth over to him. I crouched beside him.
I slapped him gently and repeatedly, "Are you okay? Hey?"
He didn't answer and his eyes were closed. I wanted to cry at the sight. Ok where does he live? People put their names in their bags don't they? I held him in one of arms and then searched his bag with the other one. There was no name. I'll knock on every door. I walked to the house beside mine and knocked. A lady opened the door.
"What happened", she asked, "My baby."
She put her hand on his forehead and just now did it occur to me that he was warm.
"Um can you watch him please uh I have a big meeting that I can't cancel", I could tell she was nervous, "Here you can call me if he doesn't wake up within ten minutes. My number is saved to the phone and on the fridge."
I nodded and she rushed to her car in a hurry, "His room is upstairs first door on the left!"
I carried him up the stairs, he was really heavy. I hope I don't pass out as well. Oh god he is heavy. I opened the first door and laid him on the bed. I shrugged and pulled his shoes off, then pulled up the covers to his chin. I got a cold washcloth and some water. Maybe if his body is under the blankets, he will start sweating again.
I sat down in the chair by his computer and waited for him to wake up. Oh god why does he have to be so cute? He is GORGEOUS! His eyes opened and I practically jumped with excitement so much that I fell out of the chair, but you know I didn't. Blush.
"Hello", he sat up.
"Take it easy there cowboy", I joked and pushed his stomach back down, realizing that he had abs.
He laughed at me and peered at me through glassy eyes. He sneezed into his hands twice.
"You're sick", I asked.
"What gave me away", he asked and stuck his tongue out.
I stuck my tongue out back, "You think you're cute?"
"You're staring at me", he smiled.
I looked down as I felt myself blush.
"It's ok, you are pretty too", he winked.
"You may be cute, but don't think that is adorable."
He smiled and then started blushing and I smiled.
"Staring again", he said and then blushed even more.
"You're the one blushing", I teased and then pinched his cheek.
He nodded and then he suddenly charged at me and tackled me.
"Let's have a race", he asked.
"Why?"
"Because and if you win, we go to your pool and if I win, you come to mine."
I rolled my eyes and he took off.
"No fair", I shouted after him and took off running.
"Beat you", he stuck out his tongue.
"You're a child."
"Whatever go get your swimsuit, my friend is coming over and so is his lady friend."
I rolled my eyes and went to get my swimsuit. I went back out to his house and through to the backyard. I saw his friend and his friend's "lady friend".
"Cannon ball", the boy screamed after spotting me.
His friend turned around and waved and so did the girl. I waved back and his friend waved for me to come over there. I walked over there.
"Austin", he said with a smile.
"Y/b/f/n", she smiled also.
"Y/n", you smiled, "Who is that and is he always like that?"
"That's Alex and only if he's hyped up on meds when he's sick", Austin laughed.
"Cool."
"Yup where do you live?"
"Next door, I'm his neighbor."
"Oh you're the new kid, where did you live?"
"Michigan."
"Cool."
I nodded and then felt arms scoop me up.
"Hold your breath", whoever it was screamed.
I plugged my nose without asking anymore questions. I was thrown in the pool. I'm glad I covered my nose. I resurfaced and so that Alex had done it.
"It's dark and my pool lights are on", he moved his eyebrows up and down.
I nudged him, "So?"
"You're pretty", he smiled and looked down at the water.
"Thanks."
He picked me up and dunked me, but I plugged my nose before he had a chance to. I resurfaced.
"You can see underwater right?"
I nodded.
"Go back down then."
I went back down and then saw him go under the water. He put up three of his fingers and then put down two. He pointed to himself. I? He put up two fingers and then made a heart with his fingers. Love? Like? He put up all three again and then pointed to me. You? I placed my feet on the bottom of the pool and pushed myself up, managing to accidently gulp water on the way up. I coughed and spit out the water. He smiled.
He swam closer and took my hand in his, "I know we just met, but I want you to be mine. Will you be?"
"You don't even know my name", I smirked.
"Y/n", he said.
I looked at him. Pedo.
"I heard you and Austin, don't worry. I know what you were thinking."
He raised his eyebrow as he stated that.
"Well in that case then yes Alex."
He kissed you.
