Niall and I had the next two weeks planned for us, thanks God that the band was on a break and they would return back to their tour in about two more months. But that was something that I didn't like to think about, I couldn't bare the thought of me not being with Niall.
We had decided that we will spend one week in Ireland so he can introduce me to his family and show me around and get drunk. (since that was on my bucket list) The other week we were going to spend it in my home country, Malta. I was so excited and I couldn't wait to start our little trip!
A week passed quickly and Niall and I were on a plane that was taking us to Ireland. I couldn't contain my excitment and I kept looking out of the see if I spot any sign of the Emerald Isle. After about an hour I could see the outline of the land.
''It's so good to see you this excited!'' Niall told me with a laugh as the air hostess had told us to fasten our seat belts and prepare for landing.
I grinned back at him and grabbed his hand tightly. ''I'm scared of landing'' I told him in a small voice, and he smile back at me and held me in his arms.
''Don't worry it will be over before you know it'' He told me, and that was true because we had landed within minutes safe and sound. We collected our hand luggages from the compartment on our seats and then we went to collect our luggages from the airport.
''A taxi should be waiting for us at the back entrance of the airport so we can avoid any possible fans or paparazzi.'' Niall told me as he lead me towards the back entrance of the airport and sure enough there was a black car that looked similar to his Range Rover waiting for us. There were only about fifteen fans here and after he had took some photos with them and signed some of the stuff they gave him we got into the car and it drove away.
I could feel the butterflies in my stomach as we got nearer to Mullingar, Niall's hometown. I was really nervous to meet his family, I had no idea what to expect. What if they thought that I was a gold digger? As I looked out from my window and saw the scenery around us I could help but calm down a little bit, Ireland looked so realizing and green! It was nothing like the busy city of London.
''Ireland is so beautiful!'' I told Niall as I continued to look out of the window, afraid of missing something if I looked behind me.
''You have see nothing yet!'' Niall told me in an excited voice, I knew that he couldn't wait to show me around and that me meeting his family was a big deal for him as well.
After a while of travelling the car drove into a long street with welcoming houses on both sides of the road when it suddenly came to a stop and from Niall's face I could see that we had arrived because he looked like a child on Christmas morning about to open his presents.
We got out of the car and Niall went to pay the driver while I got out our luggages from the back seat.
''Let me help you'' Niall told me as he saw that I was struggling to get out one of our bigger luggage.
''Thanks'' I thanked him with a smile as he took my hand in his and approached one of the houses that had a small park in front of it on the other side of the road. It looked like a really welcoming house with a small driveway and it wasn't very big. It looked like the ideal home to raise a family in.
''Wait before we go'' I stopped Niall shortly as he was walking up the driveway, he turned around to look at me and I continued. ''How should I be around your family?'' I asked him nervously.
''Just be yourself and I'm sure that they'll love you!'' Niall told me as he gave me a hug and we continued to make our way towards the front door.
When we arrived at the front door Niall took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. We could hear a lot of loud voices from inside and we heard someone telling them to be quiet before the door was swung open to reveal a middle aged woman with short blond hair and a grin on her face as she saw us. I assumed that she was his mother because I could see some similarities.
