"And, for the next project, we shall be doing...." The teacher turned to the white board and wrote in black marker 'Superheroes.' "Superheroes! You will research and get the chance to dress as your favorite superhero! And, yes, multiple people can have the same choice." The class started to hum as everyone was talking about who they'd choose. Marinette listened in on some conversations.

"Ooh, maybe I can be..."

"I wanna be..."

"Hey Marinette..." She didn't realize that last part was for her until she turned to face the front and saw Adrien staring into her eyes, quite close to her face. A dark blush formed as she back up.

"O-oh, hi Adrien! W-what's up?"

"Well, I need your help with s-something and I don't wanna ask my dad because he probably wouldn't care-" Marinette made the connection and smiled.

"I'll help you! Just tell me who you wanna be and I can do it!" Adrien gave a look of surprise but then smiled warmly.

"Thank you."

That night, Marinette was designing Adrien's outfit when a light familiar thump was heard on her balcony. She crawled up the ladder to see Chat, posing on the railing.

"Ma cheré. What are you working on so late at night?"

"I happen to be working in a costume for class. I'm making two designs because one of my classmates wanted to be Ladybug." Chat lit up at the response, happy to know someone cared.

"Oh? Who is the lucky lady?" Marinette went back inside and Chat followed in.

"First, not a girl. Second," she made a dreamy look and sighed, "Adrien Agreste!" Chat's smile faltered a bit, given he was the boy she spoke of but she had no knowledge. She seemed to nervous, maybe this was the reason? "His dad's a famous designer and Adrien is so cute! Although, his dad is really mean. He actually didn't want his dad to do it because-" she smacked a hand over her mouth and looked to Chat, who was siting on her couch. "I'm not supposed to say it. It's not my thing to tell."

Throughout the night, Mari sewed and talked to Chat and by 3 am, the outfits were done. One male fitting Ladybug costume and a secret Mari wouldn't tell Chat.

"What is it?!" She held the clothing away from him and pushed him back.

"It's a surprise! You might see it next week!" She zipped the suits away and and hung them in her closet, away from Chat. Just at the moment, Chat's Miraculous began to beep.

"Aw! Alright, I must leave you Princess. But, I will find out!" Mari shooed him away and finally went to sleep.

Finally, the day came to present. Marinette dressed in a Chat Noir suit, handmade, and walked confidently into a classroom full of... Ladybugs. No, not the actual bugs. Literally everyone, even the teacher, was Ladybug. Mari knew Adrien wanted to be her because he admired her (which made Mari dance a little inside), but she never thought the whole class admired her. Chloe was at the center, of course, in her custom-made outfit and some just had on masks.

Everyone turned to see Mari in her Chat outfit. Even Chloé was surprised at the detailed stitching! Not to mention the fact that Adrien, not showing himself to Marinette, was doing a physical happy dance because someone admired him.
