Chapter 36 Abomination #3 the king

A few days later...

I decided to practice using the abomination I caught against enemies in the forest. I walked through a forest until I happened to find a large orc wielding a battle axe.

I summoned the abomination after the orc spotted me and charged. The abomination looked around, before he was trampled by the orc.

The orc turned around and rapidly chopped down at the abomination, causing blood to splatter with each swing. Suddenly, the axe was caught as the abomination grabbed its handle. It jumped to its feet and pulled the axe away from the orc. It then stomped on the orcs knee before chopping off its head with the axe. I heard someone coming so I dispelled the abomination until I needed it again. It was Ken.

"I've been looking all over for you!"

"I was training, why what's wrong?"

"I've been hearing that an abomination has not only been found, but it admitted to having a piece of the rune. Everyone of our troops that has faced it has been defeated. It hasn't killed anyone yet, but it's taken them hostage and is threatening to kill them unless we meet his demands."

"What does it want?"

"To meet you."

"take me to him.."

The fight was happening in an area I had never been to before. It was a huge open area covered in dark grass. It was cold and the grass was wet as if it had just rained.

There was a crowd of knocked out people laying on the ground and two people fighting in the middle of it. One was a guy wearing a black armor chest plate with a white thin shirt under it. He also wore black pants and boots. He held a katana and looked exhausted and battered. Above his head was Kai

The other was wearing only loose fitting pants and had red wraps around his ankles and wrist. His hair was crimson and longish, covering one of his eyes. The eye that I could see was completely black. The name above his head was
King

Both of them were human looking, so I couldn't tell which was the abomination at first glance.

King laughed, "your so weak, like the rest of your army, I don't even need to use my limbs against you..."

Kai growled loudly, "You better use them!"

Kai charged forward quickly, slashing rapidly and precisely, yet King just dodged them effortlessly before head butting Kai and causing his forehead head to bleed.

Kai then slashed horizontally as King ducked before jumping up, slamming the top of his head under Kai's jaw causing his teeth to mash together and some of them to break.

Kai stumbled backwards holding his mouth as blood dripped down his face from both his head and mouth.

Now I knew which of them was the abomination and I stepped in to stop the fight.

King looked at me, "so you are the leader of this group.."

I looked back at him as Ken pulled Kai away.

"Yes I am, and I need that rune fragment you have."

He chuckled, "do you now? How about I tell you story.. but not in front of all these broken bodies.. tell your troops to leave, and when they are gone we will carry on.."

"Fine, Ken, take everyone away from here... "

Ken looked at me, before nodding and having everyone else removed so that only I was left staring at King.

King circled me while keeping me in his sight, "what do you know about abominations like me?"

"I know that you are all powerful..."
