Chapter 28- Phase 1

A few days later

I was walking with kaze through a thick forest which was normally full of high level enemies. We were testing new equipment and new skills. I also asked about his chakram wondering if cry stole it.

"No I gave it to her. I still have the other one though."

Before I could ask why, a huge troll burst through the trees and smashed a giant club onto the ground in front of us. Before the troll could do anything, kaze threw his daggers planting them right into the troll's eyes. I then used the dream blade in chain form to wrap around the troll's head and pulled, so that he hit the ground. Kaze finished him off by jumping up onto it's head and stabbed the sword through his skull and into his brain.

Kaze pulled the katana out of the troll and jumped down and laughed as his daggers flew back to him.

"Remember when these things were actually hard to kill?"

I laughed a little also, "yeah"

Suddenly all the trees started to move, making creaking noises as they did. They formed a sort of wall around us in a circle and blue energy surrounded the circle of trees creating a barrier.

"Well this can't be good.", Kaze said as it happened.

Just after kaze spoke some one responded and emerged seemingly from the shadows.
  "Not good for you perhaps"

"But for us, it's a promotion chance", was said by another guy who followed the first.

The two guys stood at the far end of the large cleared out area that the barrier surrounded.

The first wore black boats, black loose pants, and black light armor under a black hooded jacket that hid his face. The name above his head was Issac.

The second wore grey boots with a grey armored vest and grey armored pants. He wore black gloves with spiked knuckles. His name was Leon.

Issac walked forward, "The happy dagger guild wants your life and so it is now forfeit."

Leon followed and scratched his head, "not sure how you guys made it this long. It's like every attempt they made on you two was foiled before they could make it. You guys must have like a guardian angel or something. But your luck is up now. They've sent us and we've never failed."

Kaze laughed, "I hope they sent more than you two. I could slice you both down no problem."

Issac stepped back until his back was against the barrier, then lifted up his right hand as it started to glow red. As he did the ground started to shake as what seemed like a small army of demon type creatures rose from the ground. He repeated the same motion with his left hand and a blue light. This time he summoned armor and weapons that were equipped on the demons. Leon smirked and held out his hands making metal spikes to rise up around him and Issac, and then did it again but this time they came from the sides making a sort of grid. Next he made a barrier around the grid.

Kaze pulled out his daggers, "demon slaying time"

I looked around and then started to attack the nearest demon. This one was humanoid just red skinned with wings and a tail with a blade on it along with horns. He smashed his axe down at me. I dodged and hit him with my shoulder making him stumble away from his axe imbedded in the ground. I then slashed off his arms and then grabbed his head breaking his neck.

Three more demons charged me from different sides. I charged one and slammed him into the barrier then turned around, dodged two slashes, and counter struck killing them. Then I turned to the one against the barrier and slashed his throat.
