chapter 10

The alarm went off waking me from a deep sleep.
When I got out of bed I felt a chill from the cold wooden floor. Only yesterday I learned I was trapped in this game for who knows how long. At least the housing was good. The bed when attempted to be slept upon asked how long you wanted to sleep and set an alarm accordingly. It had a kitchen with an oven and a pantry to store cooking ingredients as well as food. There were also boxes to store inventory items in. I learned that if you bought your own house you could have many more things.
I Stood up and walked to a mirror positioned in a corner. When interacted with it opened a tab that allowed you to change apparel and manage what you wear. I clicked the equip battle attire
Which equipped armor and your standard look. I didn't actually ever buy any items to change my look.
Ryan should have finished my armor and weapons by now.
I walked to the door and exited the inn. The inn itself looked small and unassuming. A small building made of stone. The smoke from the blacksmith shop made it easy to find. The inn wasn't far from the blacksmith shop ,and it only takes a few minutes to go from one to the other. The door to the shop creaked as I opened it. Ryan was examining a long sword that had a black handle with a bright blue sapphire in the pommel. He then put it on a rack on the wall behind his counter that he normally stands behind. He then turned to see me said "I have your order ready. I used your metals for some of the things ,but I decided to upgrade your order and so I used my really rare metals to make your order better".

"Oh.. Thanks. I'm not complaining or anything but why?"
"Well the deed to the mine is worth a lot. So I thought I should be fair and give you something actually worth the mine. Trust me this will be worth it. I'll go get it."

"This guy is really nice."
Ryan then came back and handed me the things explaining them as I equipped them.
The first thing were the clawed gauntlets. They were shiny and had long thin blades.
"I made the blades with my klavion metals. Its a good metal for piercing armor. The gauntlets I made from stienium a very strong armor very hard to break and very flexible. These gauntlets should be strong enough to be able to catch a blade."

He then gave me the armor. It was black full body armor with shiny bright shoulder plates.
"I used the armorer's hide because it was stronger than most of what I had. Your gauntlets wouldn't hold all your dragon material so I fused some into your armor. I also put two dragon scales on your shoulders and coated them in stienium also. You should be able to get some good electric properties for your equip when you put it on."

Finally he handed me the last thing I asked for.
"The fanged face mask was the hardest to make. I used trainum for it. Its very strong and does a lot of crushing damage so you should be able to bite through armor. The face mask doesn't move with your mouth when you talk though. It only syncs with your mouth during battle, but you can talk through it and people will hear you like normal."

"Ok that is good"
The equipment was very strong ,and it was surprisingly light. A small menu appeared asking if I'd like to pick the properties for my equipment. I selected yes and a larger menu opened. It showed an image of my gauntlets with a list of abilities under it. The gauntlets had a set numbed of lightning properties and so did the abilities. This allowed me to select abilities who's numbers added up to or stayed under the number for the gauntlets. The number for the gauntlets was 70.
The abilities I could afford were highlighted while the the ones that required more than I had were darkened. The list of highlighted abilities and their description was.

Can fire a wave of sparks to do light damage

Lightning strikes-A - 5
Your attacks do light electric damage rarely

Lightning strikes-B. -10
Your attacks do moderate electric damage sometimes and light electric damage most of the time
