Chapter 17 do you surrender?

I walked to the gate of the arena, Kaze was there too, was sitting and leaning down. The hair blocked out his face so I couldn't see it.
"So who goes first"
"I actually fought him this morning.. I lost.. I've never been beaten that easily."
"Really?"
"Yeah.. He's waiting for you inside.. Good luck.."

'I've never seen Kaze sad before, this guy must have really got to him. I guess I have to go next'

I walked into the arena ,and I saw the champion standing across from me. He was huge, larger than Ryan and the marauder put together. He wore black pants with red around his ankles. He had red and black gloves and a grey belt. He wore no shirt and he also had long black hair kinda like mine. The name above his head was Kura

"I understand you want a surrender match. I hope you'll do better than your friend."

He held up his hand holding up two fingers, "two hits and he was out of health, but you don't have to worry about health do you? Let's start then, if your ready"

"I'm ready.."

Battle start!

Kura quickly appeared just in front of me and hit me very hard in the face knocking me back a few feet. My nose felt as if it was broken ,my teeth as if they had been knocked out of my mouth, and my skull felt cracked. I struggled to get to my feet. He quickly lunged forward grabbing my by the head and bashing his knee into my chest, then smashing me into the ground leaving me in a small crater.

I felt as if the knee had broken my rib cage into splinters and the throw into the ground had broken all that had yet to be broken.

'Should I just stay down... No!'

With great effort I managed to get back up. Kura smirked, "you've proven more resilient than your ally"

I quickly thrust my claws into his chest, only for him to thrust his hand forward, interlocking his fingers with my claws. He then squeezed with his hand ,and as he did my gauntlet shattered into pieces. Kura then lifted me by the arm and tossed me over his head and into the ground, just before he stomped on my knee cap which felt as if it snapped my leg.

"Surrender yet?"
"No.."

I quickly stood up, trying to keep the weight off of the injured leg, and I shot a dark beam at his face.
Kura dodged and appeared behind me, kicking me in the back knocking me down.
"You like to play with magic? I prefer ki!"

He jumped into the air, and a green fire type energy surrounded his body. In his hand a large green and black sphere formed in his hand and he tossed it down at me.
I quickly tossed a smoke pellet away and appeared away from the blast, but when it hit the ground it exploded sending a green wave of force that hit me and tossed me into a wall of the arena.

Kura landed just in front of me and said, "surrender?"

I felt broken.
'I can hardly stand, how am I supposed to fight?'

"No!"
Kura charged toward me, but I activated mana port and got behind him.

I then opened dark portal just in front of him and one in the air.
Mana port deactivated and Kura charged into the portal and fell out of the other. He would have landed on his feet but I activated black hand and made it uppercut him as he fell which made him land on his back and neck.

Kura got back up seemingly unscathed by the attack. The green type energy appeared around him ,and he appeared beside me again. He grabbed me by the chest and punched me multiple times in the face. The hand he grabbed me by made a green explosion tossing me away. He ran keeping up with me and punched me multiple times while I was flying, ending the onslaught by grabbing me neck and throwing me into the air. He jumped, grabbed me and threw me back into the ground and landed on my chest when he hit the ground.
