Wow, it's been a while. It's crazy how many people have discovered this over the years.
Its crazy, I've even had a few offers to have this story bought.
Crazy, the closest I'll ever be to success was an online book I wrote as a hobby years ago. (oddly, not by wattpad though, they made it clear they weren't interested in a non teen/high school/smut type book)
Also, when I first published this, Wattpad was free, with no ads. Now it's worse than YouTube with the ads.
Man, times change.
That's the worst, they fill my book with ads, but also don't care about it? I'm half tempted to delete it out of spite, but, I don't think I'm going to. Nostalgia and all that. It's always been here, and I feel like it always should.
(Unless wattpad goes full cringe romance and deletes all the non smut stories)
Even more than that, as I take a short read of it myself, I'm stunned. It changed so much. The OG readers may remember the original chapters being heavy on stats, having actual HP meters, damage done meters, afflictions, statuses, ect.
I'm still not sure phasing that out was the right move, but it just became too much as the story went on. The levels increased, the numbers increased, it just was too much for me to keep up with.
But, anyways, back to the point.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...
Thanks. For the support, the advice, the everything.
And, for those few of you that messaged me directly, if you're still around, I am touched you enjoyed the story so much.
And If the interest is still around, yes, I will try and re write the sequel.
It probably won't ever reach anywhere near the amount of success this one did.
