I opened a map of the city and saw it was divided into five parts. The center was the arena district. The northeastern was the shopping district. The northwestern section was the guild district. The southwestern was for training centers. The southeastern was the residential area and sold houses and was where the inn was located.
I walked to shopping area and restocked on potions as well as browsed for anything that might interest me. There were many shops selling a large variety of items. There were people who walked around with carts full of things that they would trade for other items. None of the shops had anything I really wanted, but I did notice a varied selection of restaurants. I wanted to go to one eventually due to curiosity on how the food here would taste, though it seemed eating was unnecessary because aside from health potions I haven't eaten since I've been here.
I then walked to the southwestern section where the training centers were located. Among them were training centers that specialized in different things. One was for physical training like strength, agility, speed, or dexterity. One specialized in sword training, one in magic, one in hand to hand, and many more. Among them was a small one for legendary weapons. It seemed as though they got little to no business at all. Maybe that's due to the fact that legendary weapons are hard to find. I entered hoping that perhaps they could train me to use the dream blade.
As I entered the building I noticed a guy sitting behind a desk. He wore red under armor and black metal plates over it. He was a big guy, but not quite the size of Ryan or the marauder. He wasn't very tall though he was wide and seemed to be solid muscle. He had a longish grey beard and grey long hair.
The old looking guy was sitting at a desk looking down at a book. The name above his head said
Weapon master trian
The small building was wooden and lit by a fire place as well as chandeliers on the roof, which was about twenty feet high. Weapons decorated the walls as well as training dummies.
He looked up and straight at me.
"Hi, umm, I have a sword I need training with"
He stood up and sighed then asked, "the sword, it is a legendary weapon right?"
"It is, it's called the dream blade" I said as I drew the blade.
He seemingly perked up and said with a happier sounding voice, "really? Most people ask for my training with regular equipment, despite the sign that says legendary training"
I scratched my head and asked "your incapable of training people with non legendary things?"
He laughed as though I said something hilarious and said, "I don't find it interesting, challenging, or the people worthy of my training. That's why I decided I'd only train people who pay me if they have legendaries, or fully train people who can convince me through a challenge."
"What type of challenge?"
"A fighting challenge"
"That's interesting. Maybe I'll challenge you later ,but for now I'll pay you to teach me how to use the sword"
"Right, follow me" he said as he turned and walked to a large empty area with a traning dummy in the middle of the area.
"Show me how'd you attack with it. It'll show me what you need to know."
"Oh, ok I can do that" I said as I neared the dummy.
I slashed and hacked at the dummy, the sword rustled and felt awkward as I attacked. Perhaps I should have used it before now.
Trian walked forward and said "no, stop, it's not meant to be used like a normal sword. I'm assuming you haven't used it before now. Open your skill list you'll notice a new skill tree called dream blade. All legendary weapons have their own skill tree."
