Maybe We Could?

You are all so lovely and friendly and omg! For those who wanted to be friends, direct message me or whatever it's called. To those who did message me, you are all so sweet and kind and AGHH :)

It may not seem like it but Phil absolutely loved romance movies. Admittedly, it was kind of embarrassing but he couldn't help it: the soppy stories just made him feel happy. That was why Phil had (somehow) convinced Dan to watch The Fault in Our Stars with him. Dan was reluctant at first but, as soon as Phil promised to watch Dan's favourite movie with him afterwards, he agreed.

So, they were sitting on the sofa, next to each other, watching the movie. Being a romance movie, it was destined to have kissing and love stuff but Phil had kind of forgotten about that. As soon as the two characters on the screen leant in to kiss each other, Phil dreamily smiled but Dan awkwardly turned away, unable to watch the characters kissing.

"How can you watch this? Watching people kiss is an invasion of privacy and it makes me feel really uncomfortable." Dan groaned, hiding his eyes with his hands.

"It's cute and it makes me wonder what it's like to be in a relationship." The characters pulled apart and Phil expected the conversation to just end there.. but it didn't.

"When were you last in a relationship?" Dan blurted out, a blush spreading across his pale cheeks as he realised now he was invading Phil's privacy.

"My last relationship was probably when I was like 19 or something."

"I'd like to be in a relationship with someone.. it would be nice to have someone to cuddle and kiss and talk to.. you know?" Phil hummed a response, not fully paying attention to Dan. "I know I have you to talk to and all but we can't exactly kiss, can we?" Dan chuckled but there was a slight hint of hope in the question.

Phil lifted up the television remote, pausing the movie and turning to face Dan. He stayed silent for a couple of moments before speaking up. "Maybe we could." Once he realised what he had said, his cheeks went bright red.

Dan then found himself leaning forward.

As did Phil.

And their lips touched.
