Today is the day of the exhibition. I'm a little nervous. It starts later tonight so I have all day to panic about things going wrong. Harold is spending all day with me so he plans on keeping my mind occupied with other things. I don't know what those things could possibly be but he always has a plan. I have a black dress picked out to wear tonight. It has little bits of glitter throughout the fabric but it's not over the too shiny. I feel like it's perfect for an exhibition about the northern lights. It hangs in my closet just waiting to be worn. It's still early, though, I haven't even changed out of my pajamas and Harold is going to be here any moment.

Tyler had his doctor's appointment earlier this week. He's going to be out 3-6 weeks with a ligament tear. I know he's so bummed. Not only is this his first real injury, his team is struggling to make the playoffs and he's one of the best players on the team. He was on fire before the injury, scoring goals almost every game. This could not have come at a worse time for him. He's been in a lot of pain although he tries not to talk about it too much. The other day he got his knee drained. He said that was the worst pain he's ever felt. It's been frustrating for him to miss games. He's already missed 4 games since the injury and he's going to miss another one tonight. The Stars lost 3 of the 4 games he's missed already. It's not looking good.

I quickly throw on some clothes as Harold let's me know he's close. I have no idea how to dress because I have no idea what he has planned. He's so unpredictable. I wouldn't be able to guess even if I tried. I put on a jacket and walk outside to wait for him. He pulls up and parks in front of the house and I get in the car. He looks like he's actually dressed pretty casual. I don't think I've ever seen him not wearing a suit. I look down and he's wearing jeans. "Wow no suit?" I ask as he starts to drive off.

"There are times I don't wear suits, you know," he replies.

"I've just never seen it, that's all."

"Where we're going it wouldn't be right."

"Where are we going anyway?"

"I don't think you understand the concept of a surprise."

"I just don't know how much I trust you."

"You're going to love it, trust me. It'll clear your mind."

Harold wound up taking me to a shooting range. As in guns. I've never seen a gun in person before, let alone held one, let alone shoot one. Today is just going to be filled with firsts I guess. Harold taught me everything he knows about guns while we were there, which is a considerable amount. He's always this goofy guy that has way too much self confidence but he's a totally different person at the shooting range. He is serious and all about safety and the rules. He shot first, showing me how it's done, then actually trusted me with his gun and it was my turn to shoot. I was nervous at first. Holding a gun is a huge responsibility. The first time I shot it I was taken aback by the power that little gun can hold but I got used to it as the day went on. I did actually enjoy myself and I'm thinking of getting a gun myself, just to shoot at the range. It definitely did clear my head, that's for sure.

After we leave the shooting range we go out to lunch and get something to eat. He tells me he's been in contact with RCG and they're going to start production on the pilot soon. They want me to come out and watch them film the pilot once they start filming. I'm excited. I love how they involve me in everything when they really don't have to. After lunch Harold drops me off at home so I can get ready for tonight. I plan on getting there a few hours early to make sure everything is ok. I decide to take a nap and set my alarm to wake me up in an hour.

After I wake up from my nap, shower, and get dressed I decide to put some curls in my hair. I inspect myself in the mirror one last time before leaving the house, getting in my car, and driving to the gallery. Donna is waiting for me outside when I get there. I am sure I am going to hear from her about that. I park the car, get out, and join Donna outside. "Are you ready for this?" she asks as she unlocks the door.
