I run my fingers through Charlie's hair, I kiss him on the side of his face.

I love you forever..Charlie I say laying my head on his shoulder.

I wanna know why Mia wanted us to adopt Lexi? I say.

Maybe she just didn't want Lexi no more...

I'm not sure? But I'm happy that Lexi is happy that's all that matters Charlie says.

Well I need to go pick her up I say getting out of bed.

I pull up to the parking lot of Lexi's school.
I was a little early, so I waited in the car.

A car pulls up to the side of me...I noticed it was a guy.

He rolls down his window.

He turns his head and looks at me...

HEY! He says trying to get my attention.

Do you know what time the kids get out of school?
