-The next morning-

I was in the car driving the girls to school,
We were also in morning traffic...

"Hey girls y'all might be late for school.

"Oh yay! The both say.

"So Meghan did you and daddy talk last night? Lexi adds.

"About what honey?

"You know.. Adopting Sirena? She says hinting at me.

"Well yes we did talk last night about that.

"And... Are you going to adopt me? Sirena says with excitement.

'I take a big sigh..

"Sirena.. We have to talk to your family first.

"I don't care what my family says! I don't like them, and they don't like me! So why should I care?

"hey! Don't say that, they all love you dearly.

"Except for your mom.. I whisper.

"Please Meghan!!!
I really wanna be with you all forever!

'She says begging.

"Listen Sirena.. I'll tell you my decision when you girls come back home later... But for now, don't worry!

"Ok... She says quietly.

'We pull up to the school and they get out.

"Bye mommy!! Lexi says waving.

"Bye baby! I love you❤️

-I pull of and I head back to the house-

When I pulled up into the driveway, I got out and I walked across the street to Zoe's house.

'I knock on the door,
And Presley opens it.

"Oh hey there you are! We have been waiting for you! She says smiling.

"Oh you have? I'm sorry I was taking the girls to school.

"It's totally fine! Come on in!

'I walk in the house and I see Amber, Charlie, and Zoe, sitting on the couch.

"Hey babe? When did you get here?

"Oh I actually just got here.

"Oh..

'I sit on the couch next to him.

"So... Charlie has been telling us that Sirena wants you guys to adopt her just like Lexi.

"Yea.. She's been begging us like crazy.

"Well I think it's a great idea! And plus she gets along with Lexi very well!
'Zoe says.

"Yea.. I know.. But I don't want you guys to worry about Sirena! I say.

"Oh Meghan.. We won't worry about her, we'll all trust you guys, I me a we already trusted you for a month.

"Yea.. But-

"Come on Meghan! She loves you guys a lot!
'Presley says.

'I look down at my nails..

'Charlie puts his hand in mine, I look up and I see him smile at me.

"Are you ok with it babe?
I ask Charlie.

"Of course!

"Well...

-Right before I could say my answer, there was a knock at the door-

'Presley gets up and answers it.

"Meghan?? It's some guy he wants to speak to you.
'She says to me.

'I get up off the couch slowly with a confused face.

'When I walk to the door..
'My eyes were in huge shock!!
