Hades' PoV:

She's here. God damn it. I knew that she loved this restaurant but did I listen to my gut feeling when it told me that she was probably going to be here? No, I just went with the flow. Fuck my life.

"Dude, literally all of them are looking at you." Brandon says. I shake my head, smirking. I actually didn't even notice them looking at me until she came to their table. Out of all places, why again did we choose to eat here?

"I think they would all do you. Probably even at the same time. Jesus, Hade. Do you know what a chance this is?" He continues and I roll my eyes. A little pig, as always. I actually missed him. Two years of jail without my crew was hard. I mean jail is not easy in general, but just saying. I've lost two years of my life, just because the fucking police was too stupid to find a murderer.

I clench my jaw, not willing to think about it again. At least abuela and I got a compensation. I won't tell about the amount of money, simply because I was taught not to tell everybody about the amount of money you have, but it's a lot. Not worth spending two years of my life in jail, but at least it's something.

I snatch a fry from his plate and shove it in my mouth. He leans over to slap my cheek, but I quickly lean out of reach for him, grinning. He huffs like a little child and crosses his arms. I roll my eyes, he's being so dramatic.

"It's okay, you can have some of mine if you want." I hear his twin brother, Cameron say to him and snort, crossing my own arms over my chest. I let my eyes wander towards her again and internally groan. Seems like she's avoiding me, good. I drop my gaze towards my plate again and don't feel that hungry anymore.

"Dude, that one isn't even looking at you. Stop trying so hard." I hear my best friend, Noah whisper next to me.
"What are you talking about?" I turn my head to look at the freckled ginger.
"Ever since she came back, you've been eyeing her, but unfortunately little miss not-so-drooling-over-you hasn't looked at you once." He says. Not once?
As if I cared.

"That's not who I was looking at." I defend myself. I just pray that he doesn't recognize her, because if he does I won't ever hear the end of it. But the chance is small, since she's changed a lot.

"Then who were you looking at, huh?" He smirks, knowing I was lying. The thing about Noah is that he knows exactly when I'm lying. Which makes me stop trying and change the topic.
"So when again are we going to the convention tomorrow?" I ask, probably already getting on his nerves for even asking.

"For the last time, Hade. You are not coming with us. You have school." He says slowly.
"It's the first day. We're never doing anything on the first day." I groan. Stupid police. If they didn't arrest me, I would've finished my last year of high school last year already. But no, I have to re-take it in order to graduate. Now I have to wait another year to go to the convention.

"Still. I'm not going to take you with us. It's your fault that you didn't go to school in jail. You know they have this program." He tells me. Sure I could've gone to school in prison, but who would like to graduate in prison?
"Dude, I will be going to school every single day this year, if you take me with you." I argue, smirking when I see him thinking about it. I knew that was a good argument. He's about to answer when a loud gasp distracts him from continuing. I turn my head to the familiar girl that is seated in front of Emma with wide eyes. Where do I know her from? Think Hades, think.

She yells for the waiter and I frown. What's the rush? Ah, now I remember! She's the girl from the club. The weird one. I smile at the memory. She was acting like a goof and was too awkward to hold a proper conversation. But it was funny and made me laugh, after seeing stuff I didn't want to see. I didn't know she was friends with her.
