The sun barely risen yet, Stark building was unusually quiet, and Steve was already in the kitchen cooking, all sweaty from his run. It was always his morning routine, get up before sunrise, go for a run, cook some breakfast. He was cooking some pancakes with bananas, carefully mixing the batter.

"Morning Rogers," a voice said, causing him to turn around to see the owner of the voice.

"Morning, Ma'am."

"Ma'am?" She chuckled,"just call me Natasha, Steve," she smiled assuringly.

"Morning, Natasha."

"That's better," she said, he smiled.

"Why are you up so early? Having trouble sleeping?" he asked, pouring the batter on the pan.

"I'm used to it, S.H.I.E.L.D missions usually require me to wake up and be mission ready by dawn."

"Clint?"

"Yeah well, he'll probably wake up in an hour or so."

"You guys seem to be so close is he your uh-"

"Boyfriend?" She asked, he nodded, face starting to get red.

"Gosh no, everybody thought so but no, he has a girlfriend, I owe him a debt."

"Debt?"

"It's kinda complicated."

Steve put his pancakes on a plate, organizing it neatly on the plate, putting bananas and some maple syrup on top.

"Pancakes?" He offered the pancakes on the plate to her, she took some of it and put it on her own plate.

"Thank you."

"Coffee or tea?"

"Coffee, please." Steve got her coffee from the coffee brewer and poured it into her cup, and took his own and sit across her.

"Steve, this is delicious! Where did Captain America learned how to cook?" she said while eating a mouthful of pancakes.

"Glad you liked it," Steve replied smiling, as Natasha continued to devour the pancakes.

"So, you're Russian?" Steve asked, trying to start a conversation while they're having a way too early breakfast.

She nodded, "I was actually."

"Why can't I hear the Russian accent, unlike Wanda, your American accent seems flawless."

"Being a spy means you have to speak a variety of languages and able to switch your accent in the blink of an eye. But Wanda, she just got  here, she'll probably get used to it sooner or later."

"Oh, wow, what languages do you actually speak?"

"German, Russian, Chinese, French,Latin-"

"You speak Latin? It's a dead language."He said impressed, she just shrugged.

They sat there in silence, continuing their breakfast. Before Steve could notice, Natasha was done with her meal, watching Steve oh so peacefully eating his food. She smiled at the sight, she felt warmth fill her heart and she rather feel comfortable around him even though they just met, it's been awhile since she felt something like this, this tingling feeling within. Then, blue eyes met with green ones, they hold their stare for a while, but Steve being Steve broke it after his cheeks flushed pink. Natasha laughed softly at his reaction.

"Well, well, well, look at this, we just paired you yesterday and you're already dating today, wow, you're fast Cap," Tony said walking in with a cup on his hand, Natasha shooting him a glare.

"Why are you up so early, Stark?" Steve asked, cleaning up his and her plates.

"Been doing experiments down in the lab since yesterday, I'm just gonna get some coffee and leave you lovebirds right here," earning another glare from Natasha, "hey, Natalie enough with that glare it's creeping me out." Nat just rolled her eyes.

"Natalie?" He asked once Tony already left them alone.

"Fury once assigned me to 'babysit' Stark using my cover as Natalie Rushman, that was like what? Two years ago?" Steve just nodded and made an o-shape with his mouth.

"I'm gonna go wake Clint up, he should've been up already."

"Uh, yeah sure go ahead," he said while putting the plates on the rack.

"And Steve?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for the meal," she said, winking.

"No problem, see you later, Romanoff."

"Later Cap."
