Amir POV

“Auntie can you come get me?” Ariel (A-ri-l; like the mermaid) cried. “Where are you?” I asked. Mike and I were just about to leave the doctor’s office. Ariel is my sister, Arielle’s (Ari-l) oldest girl. “I’m at the police station.” She told me. “What’s going on?” I asked getting in the driver’s seat. “I didn’t do anything. I promise. Please don’t tell my mom.” She cried. “Ok. I’m on my way.” I said and hung up. “What happened?” Mike asked. “Ariel’s at the police station.”

Ariel POV

“You guys could have been in a lot of trouble.” A girl who said her name was Saisha said. “Us? We didn’t do anything, it was all you.” Another girl said. “You was about to get this lil girl in trouble. Look at her, she even look innocent.” Someone said about me. “Shut the fuck up. Girl, how old you is?” Saisha asked me. “15.” I told her. “She only 15 dawg.” “Shut the hell up. She bout to go home.” Saisha said. “Ariel.” Auntie Mir came towards me. “Thank you for coming to get me. You didn’t call my momma did you?” I asked. “No.” She just hugged me. “Damn he is fine.” I heard the girls say. “Hi Uncle Mike.” I hugged him. “Wassup mermaid.” I laughed at him. “Are these your friends?” An officer asked me. I shook my head no. “I don’t know them.” I said. “Ok. She’s free to go. We can’t hold her because she’s underage. But these girls are constantly in this station.” The officer said. “How old are they?” Auntie asked. “Two are 19, one is 20 and the last one is 22.” He says. “Ariel, why the hell you hanging with older people?” Auntie Mir asked. “I’m not.” I said. “Come on let’s go.” Mike pulled unto Auntie and led us out holding her hand.

“What happened Ariel?” Auntie asked me. “I was at the park and those girls were doing it not me. I was just walking pass them when the police showed up. Then one of the girl’s, the oldest one blamed everything on me.” I told her. “Doing what?” She asked. “Selling drugs.” “Well I’m glad you’re safe.” She rubbed her stomach. “Is my baby kicking?” Uncle Mike asked. “Yes.” Auntie said and he switched his driving position and rubbed her belly. “Can I feel it?” I asked. “Sure.” She says and I leaned forward.

Amir POV

“Don’t worry, I got you.” I told Ariel when we walked up to my sister’s front door and I knocked. “Ariel, why you didn’t call me? Sadaria’s mother called me saying something happened at the party at the park I dropped you off at and that they couldn’t find you. And that they police showed up.” My sister wrapped Ariel into a hug. “She was trying to call you then called me since you wasn’t answering.” I lied. “Thank Mir.” My sister hugged me. “No problem.” I hugged back. “No really. You don’t know how worried I was.” She stepped inside so we can walk in. “I’m sure I do.” I held Mike’s hand leading him towards the couch. “So what is it?” Arielle asked me when I sat down. “You’ll find out at Mir’s birthday party next week.” Mike says and I looked at him. “I told you I didn’t want a party.” I said. “Well you’re getting one.” He says. “We’re going to be celebrating 3 things.” He says and I gave him a confused look. “I’ll tell you over dinner.” He says. We decided to go on our movie and dinner date tonight since we didn’t yesterday. “I guess.” I sighed.

“Mir hurry up! The movie starts in 30 minutes.” I was still upstairs deciding on what shoes and purse went together. “I’m coming.” I yelled. I had on decided on wearing my royal blue long sleeve backless bodycon dress with my gold pumps, my royal blue and gold snake print clutch; with my hair straighten and in a high ponytail revealing my back and gold hanging earrings. I grabbed my clutch and heels and started walking out the room and down the stairs. “Don’t you be complaining how yo feet hurting because I am not giving out free massages.” He says when I got downstairs and started putting my heels on. “What I gotta do for them?” I asked seductively and grabbed him, causing him to grunt. “Amir don’t do that.” He warned and I sneered and kissed his chin. “Let’s go before we be late.” I told him and walked out to his car.
