Sabina POV
"Amor, what the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled at him and he groaned. "Babe, stop yelling damn." He mumbles. "No, Amor, get the fuck up!" I yanked the comforter off his body. "What?" "The fuck you mean what? Do you not see what I have on? What you need glasses now?" I questioned yelling. "I'm just not in mood ok?" He sighs. "I wanted to celebrate the news." I said lowly. "In the morning." He rolled back over. "Amor, I'm pregnant." He reacted so fast that he fell off the bed. "Damn, that's how bad you don't want me to have your child." I questioned. "No. You just caught me by surprise." He got back in the bed pulling the covers back. "Oh." I took my pumps off and taking them to the closet. By the time I came back, he was sleep.
"Good Morning." I walked in the kitchen and he quickly put his phone in his pocket. "Morning." He didn't even look at me. "Do you love me?" I blurted. "Yeah. What makes you ask that?" He finally looked at me. "It's just last night and other times when you've been kinda spacious." I explain and he came to me pulling our bodies together. "I just wasn't in the mood for sex baby, that's it." He kissed me. "Ok." I said even though I didn't believe him. I just wanted to come out and ask bout that white girl. He still haven't told me about what happened at the reunion.
Sunday (2nd week of school tomorrow)
Amir POV
"Ready?" Mike asked me. "Yeah." I smiled. "Nervous." He says. "Yeah." "I was talking about me." I laughed at him. "Wish me luck." I sighed. He bend down giving me a passionate kiss. "You got this. Call me if something don't seem right." He looked me in my eyes. "Got it." "And be careful." He rubbed my stomach. I turned to Dec. Renata, "Let's get my child back." I smiled.
I looked at the house before I walked towards the door. One stupid thing about Shelly was that she was never one to keep her doors locked when she was home and was always in the backyard in her small pent house she had gotten installed. Therefore allowing anyone in. Walking on the porch, I looked toward a window she see if she was in the living room, or anywhere near the front door.
When I saw the coast was clear, I slowly twisted the knob, slowly opening the door. I peeped before opening it just enough for me to slide in without opening it widely. "I'm in the pent ok?!" I heard yelling outside and silently praised it. 'Just a few more steps.' I thought to myself and started quietly up the stairs. I don't know what was holding me down and making me walk even slower, anxious about getting Minah or scared of getting caught. Either way I get her back since I have the police on my side.
I let out a breath finally reaching the top of the stairs. I looked at both sides of the hall deciding which way I should go. "I thought you was here already? Oh, I was just about to lock the door so we wouldn't be interrupted." Shelly's voice became louder and closer. "Fuck." I said in my head. I quietly went left seeing a door already crack open so I wouldn't be heard.
"Someone's here." She says. My heart was racing so fast, it felt like it was going to tear outta my chest. I turned around from the door with my head down; but then popped it up and my eyes opened. "Aminah." I covered my mouth with my hand walking towards the crib. She was stirring around then her eyes open which made the tears come. "Minnie." I pick her up from the crib. Her diaper was full and I wanted to change her right then and there. I kissed her forehead as she looked at me confusedly. The reason of my tears then changed; she doesn't remember me. "Ma?" She says and I smiled. "Brian. I think I just heard her first word!" Shelly says. I quickly put Aminah down looking for a place to hide. Of course there wasn't anywhere I can hide with this stomach, so I decided to stand where the door would open and hide me.
I took my phone out texting Mike 'NOW' "She did say something watch." She burst the door, keeping it opened. "Yeah yeah. That baby ain't talk not once ever." I guess she had him on speaker. "Ma!" Minnie screams. "She told you. Hello? Bitch ass gon hang up on me." She says. "Ma!" "Yes. I'm your mommy." The bitch says. I pushed the door hard enough that it slammed shut and slightly broke off the hinges. "I believe she was talking about me." I said coldly. "Shit." "Shit is right." I smiled evilly.
"Amir let me explain." "Now you wanna explain? Please! It ain't nothing to explain. I never did shit to you! You just jealous that I got a family and you don't. Wake up bitch! No one wants you!" I stepped closer to her. "Brian does." "Brian is in the hands of the police. So is Jaz, and you're next. But hey you should feel special, because they didn't get their ass beat before going to jail." I cocked my smile. "I didn't get beat-" Before she could finish, I punched her straight in her face hitting her nose. "You bitch!" She screamed in pain. "Why thank you." I kicked her in her stomach and she flew into the back wall next to the crib. And Michael says yoga doesn't do anything... "You can fuck with me I don't give a damn. But don't touch and husband or child, you sick bitch." I punched her jaw and she spit out blood just as some officers came in. I went to get a wipe and wipe my hands then using some hand sanitizer. "Ma." Aminah smiled. "I miss you too." I took her out the crib to change her diaper.
I walked downstairs with my child in my hands and stopped before opening the door. "You're ok?" Dec. Renata asked. "Yes. Thank you. For everything." I smiled as the tears came down. "Where's my husband?" "Right outside." I tried wiping the tears, but every time I looked down, they came down. I opened the door and step out. I looked up and connected eyes with Michael who was standing at his car parked on the side of the road. His smiled with from ear to ear and he wasted no time meeting me.
"She remembers me. Even with the hair color change." I smiled. "Told you. Can I get her?" He asked. "She's your child too." I laughed a little. "Yeah, but you're her mother." He grabbed us. "So big." He tickled her and she giggled. She stared at him like she did me. I guess trying to figure the face. "Da." She moved her lips. He looked just as happy now as when he held her for the first time in the delivery room.
Michael POV
Having my child back in my arms is everything. "Baby go get some sleep." I rubbed Mir's hair. "We took tomorrow off though." She whines. "You sleep need to go to sleep. Here let me do the dishes." I moved her out the way pushing her in the directions of the stairs. "You just want to be selfish." She suck her tongue out. "You right. But she's just like herself. Always wanted you." I chuckled. We just got Aminah back 8 hours ago and she couldn't stop saying ma. Like even when I held her, it was ma. She was so fascinated with Amir's stomach.
"Jealous." She smirked. "Hell yeah." "Hey watch your mouth." She warned me. "Like you was when you were up in that room with her." I shook my head finishing up the dishes. "Thanks for dinner." I kiss her lips go to get Mini.
Amir POV
I woke up and immediately started crying. "What happened?" Michael got up consoling me. "It was all a dream." I cried.
