Chapter 2

Chapter 2 The Strangers

It's been about a month or two since we set out to find the rest of the village. So far we found about six dead bodies that belonged to the Bullheads. Besides that we've been wondering around the forest of huge trees, searching for clues.

"Cheoki, we must to find food. We only have apples left, all the meat is gone." Nuka informed me as he was looking through his satchel.

" This forest has no animals or pond, we must leave here soon." Kanta added

"Something happened here. Look at the giants, footprints." I pointed out.

"It looks like they were gathering around something."

"Maybe they are eating each other" Kanta chuckled

We followed very strange tracks out of the forest and led us to a graveyard. There were wrapped bodies on the floor, wearing strange clothing.

" These are other people! Maybe we can find help!" Nuka cheered.

"These people deserve a proper burial." I began to tear up

Majority of the bodies we found were all male, until I accidently tripped over a body. I pulled over the covers and saw her face splattered with blood.

I reached down and began to wipe her face clean. She had short orangey sunset hair, beautiful eyes, and fair skin.

"Such a beautiful girl." I sobbed " I can see her as a beautiful bride." I closed her eyes and laid her carefully with the others.

Once they were all laid out, we started a fire and burned the bodies.

"Don't worry, I won't let them eat you." I smiled as we headed off.

"Is the one you love safe?" I thought about the lady with sunset hair.

"What's that?" Kanta looked over his shoulder

"Keep on following the trail. I need to know who these people are." I ordered

" Some of those didn't look like they were killed by giants." Nuka said seeing how I would react.

"Still, I am very curious to see their land."

Yes, the person they found was Petra. After seeing her death, I just felt that she deserved a proper burial since she was a fave of mine. Rest in peace Levi Squad.
Also Cheoki is exaggerating, they've been searching for only about a month.
