Dean's POV
Cas and I have a 'date night' every friday night, so I had Sam leave. He seemed like he wanted to talk to me, but I told him it could wait. He reluctantly left after a little bit of insisting, and I went back into the house. My heart was pounding in my chest, and my palms were sweaty. Cas was curled up on the couch, looking through a small stack of movies. "Did you pick one out yet babe?" I asked, looking over at him. I stood next to the couch, ready to pop in whatever movie he chose. He bit his lip, then held out a plastic dvd case. I took it, popped the case open, and took out the disk. After sliding it into the disk slot, I sat down next to Cas and put my arm around his shoulders. He snuggled into my chest, smiling up at me for a second before he turned his attention to the movie. We watched it halfway through before pausing it. We went to the kitchen, and we started making popcorn. I got the popper down and pulled the bag of popcorn kernels off the shelf, while Cas melted the butter in the microwave. I popped one big bowl of popcorn, then Cas salted and buttered it. He smiled happily at me as I dabbed a little soft butter onto the tip of his nose, then vowed revenge. He pinned me against the counter, tickling my sides. I laughed loudly, trying to push him away. He grinned and backed away, letting me catch my breath. I gasped a few times, sucking in air. Cas laughed at my red face, doubled over with laughter. I grinned once I caught my breath, then pulled him to the floor with me. I pinned him and tickled his stomach and neck. He shook with laughter, eyes watering. When he needed breath, I lifted my hands from his skin and sat there, waiting for him to breathe normally again. He caught his breath, then leaned up and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss, then broke it and stood up. I pulled Cas to his feet, and then at the exact same time, we both said; "I want to ask you sonething." I chuckled. "You first Cas." He took a deep breath. "Dean, We've been together for six years. We've laughed, we've fought, but we came out of it stronger than before. When I'm weak, you make me strong. When I'm sad, you're the only one who can always make me smile. Your hand fits perfectly in mine," He paused to slip his fingers inbetween mine for a few seconds, then let his arm fall back to his side. "And you've stolen my heart piece by piece every day for six whole years. I love you with every fiber of my being, and I never want to let you go. So, Dean Samuel Winchester," He got down on one knee and pulled out a small black box. "Will you marry me?" I was stunned. I was without words. He looked expectantly up at me, and I had no clue what to say. I pulled him to his feet, kissed him, and said; "that's what I was going to ask you!" His eyes went wide. "Really?" I pulled the ring box from my pocket. "Really!" He grinned, trying to hold in laughter. I knelt down to one knee, opening the box. "Cas. These last six years have been the best years of my life. I love you more than words can say, and every time you smile, you leave me breathless. I've never felt this way about anyone else before, and I'll never feel this way about another. Cas, I love you, and I want to be yours forevermore. So, Castiel Jimmy Novak, Will you marry me?" He got back on one knee and opened his ring box again. "Only if you'll marry me." at that moment, the door flew open Sam and Charlie barging through the doorway. They stopped short when they saw us both, the Sam grabbed Charlie's arm and slowly backed her out of the room. I laughed, then shook my head. "Let me guess, yoy took Sam ring shopping with you?" He nodded. "And you took Charlie?" I nodded back. Then at the same time, again, we both said; "Yes." Simultaneously, we pulled out our rings and slipped them onto each other's fingers. Then we kissed. I stood first, then pulled him to his feet. He beamed at me, and I grinned back. "I love you Castiel." I whispered, pulling him into my arms. I stared down at the ring on my finger, eyes tearing up. I could feel his breath slightly speeding up, happy tears flowing down his face. I held him tightly, then pulled out my phone. I pulled up my music, then opened up a folder entitled 'Cas'. I tapped a song, then set the phone down. As 'Fly Me To The Moon' started to play, I took Cas's hands and began to swing dance with him. We were there for three hours, swing dancing our way through five folders of songs. Our movie was forgotten, but we didn't care. It was me and him, us, and nothing else existed. The world fell away when I looked into his eyes, and I knew that I would never let him go.
