Castiel's POV

Dean. Winchester. Kissed. Me. And. Asked. Me. Out. Dean Winchester. Kissed me. And asked me out. Dean Winchester kissed me and asked me out. Oh my god. We are in his car, on the way to our very first date. God, I can't breathe... I am now Castiel Novak, boyfriend of Dean Winchester. Wow. Wow. I can't believe this! I shivered slightly in excitement, trying not to let on how ecstatic I was. Dean kept glancing at me while he drove, smiling. It was all I could do to keep from grinning like a fool. We arrived at his favorite burger place, and he opened all my doors for me as we walked in. He lead me to his favorite table and pulled my chair out for me. He told me to order whatever I wanted, and we talked the whole time we were there. It was amazing... After he paid, (he insisted I let him pay) we left. It was late by then, and I was cold, so he slid off his letterman jacket and draped it over my shoulders. It was adorable. I was insanely happy. I don't think I'd ever been that happy before that day. When he drove us back home, sam was asleep in his bed and Gabriel was asleep in the guest bedroom. Dean asked if I wanted to sleep in his room, since there wasn't another room available. He told me that if I wanted, he would sleep on the couch, but if not he promised no funny buisiness. In the end, we both ended up in his bed, just cudddling. He had asked if I was okay with him taking his shirt off, since that was how he normally slept. I told him I was fine with that. I left my shirt on. He laid with his back against the wall, and I laid with my head against his chest, curled up in his arms. His hands rested on the small of my back, my own hands pressed between the wall and his shoulder blades. We fell asleep in each other's arms. Words can not even describe the feeling I had when I woke up and felt his arms around me, delighted that it hadn't been a dream, that I was still in Dean Winchester's arms, that I was still laying there with my head on his chest. That it hadn't just been a fantasy. I smiled and closed my eyes again, unwilling to.move from my position. I slowly drifted back into a doze, breathing deeply.

Dean's POV

When my alarm went off, I was mad at first. Then i saw a groggy, adorably sleepy Castiel with his arms wrapped around me. I smiled and gently removed one armfeom his side to switch off the incessant beeping of my alarm. I kissed the top of Cas's now messy hair, running my hands over his sides in an attempt to wake him up. He just groaned sleepily and shifted away from my hands. I smirked, an idea appearing in my mind. I drew back Just far enough that I could angle my head towards his, and I kissed him. I kissed him until he was awake, and then I stared into his eyes as he opened them slowly. "Wake up sleepyhead, time to get ready for school." I murmured, smiling at him. He nodded and rubbed his eyes, fighting a yawn. My heart thumped in my chest, reacting to Cas's adorableness. I slowly pushed the blanket off of us, then sat up. Cas requested a.few.more minutes of sleep, and I couldn't tell him no. I went and took a shower, got dressed in blue jeans and a white t-shirt, black converse, and my letterman, then I woke up Cas. "Come on Cas. Up and at 'em." He awoke with a groan and a mumble that I couldn't quite understand. I chuckled and instructed him toward the bathroom so he could shower. I went and knocked on Sam's door, waking him up. I didn't wake Gabriel. I figured I'd leave that to Sam. An hour later, everyone was ready. I made breakfast, we all ate, and then we piled into the Impala. "Ready?" I asked Cas, my hand covering his as it sat on his knee. He took a deep breath and said "I'll never be ready. Let's do it anyway." I slipped my fingers between his and felt a thrill when they fit together perfectly, like a puzzle piece. I rested our joined hands on the shift, started the car, and began to drive the four of us to school. When we got there, I got out and opened the door for Cas, then took his hand in mine, once again intertwining our fingers. He smiled shakily and I returned with a nervous grin. Sam and Gabriel got out of the backseat and grabbed hands, Sam waving at me as they walked off toward the middle school. I leaned closer to Cas to kiss his cheek, causing him to blush lightly. I grabbed my notebook from the floor of my car, bumped the door shut with my hip, and started walking toward Hunter High School's front doors, hand in hand with my amazing boyfriend.
