The whole 5 days went by quite fast. The date ended with me sleeping over at Liam's place. We cuddled up in his bed and slept like babies. And I almost missed work the other day. I couldn't even go home and change, I had to go to work without showering, applying my makeup or changing.

When I came home the same day, Tina and I apologized to one another. We both felt really bad about our fight.

Now I am at work. I still got about half an hour left before I finish and go home. It's been very busy the whole morning. A lot of people came, so I had a lot of work to do around here. It was just me and Selena, and of course, Mike was in the kitchen preparing breakfast the whole time for the customers. But Selena and I were the only waitresses.

"I'll have a doughnut and black coffee."

"Coming right up, Sir." I walk back to the counter and prepared the man what he ordered and brought it back to him. "Enjoy."

Then I went to an empty table and cleaned it right before a couple sat down and ordered pancakes and coffee.

"Mike! Pancakes ... twice!" I call to the back and start to prepare coffee for the two people.

I look up through the front window of the place and my eyes widen. My heart begins to race like crazy as I look at the person outside the window. It can't possibly be him. Without another thought, I round the counter and start to walk towards the door of the shop.

Suddenly, I bump into someone, which causes me to look down at the person. A girl around my age is giving me an odd look.

"I am so sorry." I say to the customer. But she just walks away without another word.

I look back up to the window but he's not there anymore. I walk through the front door of the shop and look on either side of the street. He's nowhere in sight. I grip my forehead and begin to breathe heavily.

Am I losing my mind? He couldn't possibly find me here. I erased all evidence of me and Tina.

"Darcy!" I heard Selena's voice call my name from the door. I turn around, panic still coursing through me. "Are you okay?" She asks concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I nod my head. "I just needed some air; it is way too crowded in there."

"Well, you aren't wrong about that, Darcy. But we both need to finish our shifts, and then we can go home. That'll be in 10 minutes, so come on." Selena goes back into the shop.

I grip the door handle and turn around before entering. I don't understand. Nothing adds up. It has to be my fear causing illusions to appear. It just has to be.

I go back into the shop and continue to work for 10 more minutes, like Selena said. Soon, Kylie and Tori came to take over our shifts. Selena has already left to go home, while I am still standing in front of my open locker.

My thoughts keep racing through my crazy self. It makes my eyes burn with tears at the mere thought of who I think I saw. But I quickly push the tears back, not letting them fall down my cheeks. It was probably just someone, who looked like him, nothing else. I take a few deep breaths and close my locker closed.

I take my bag and slung the leather material over my shoulder on my way out the back doors. I start walking down the street, towards home. The headphones, which are in my ears, cause the music to calm me down a little. I am still a little paranoid from before.

After 10 minutes or so of walking, I finally arrive at the house. I go up the porch steps and enter. Tina isn't home, yet. She's still at work.

I go up the stairs and to my room. I throw the bag down onto the floor and quickly change into other clothes. I put on a burgundy muscle tank top and black athletic shorts. I put my hair in a high pony tail after.
