After I read over the letter one more time, I go to the bathroom, take off my makeup and let my hair out of the messy bun. When that is done, I do my business.
I go back to my room and sit at the table, taking out a few blank sheets of paper from my drawer. I am so excited to tell my family all that has happened to me. And a lot has happened since the last time I wrote. I take a pen in my hand and begin to write.
My hand flows freely over the page. It soon begins to hurt from the quick writing. I am so excited to tell them everything, good and bad. Yes, I do tell my family everything, because we are very close. They know everything I've been through back in Miami. They aren't particularly proud of my past actions and choices; well, neither am I, but they stuck with me through all of it.
My mind is racing with everything that has happened and I am quick to write it down. I am at the bottom of the second page, when the doorbell rings. I get up from the chair and walk down the stairs to answer the door. When I open the door, Liam is standing there with a pizza box in hand. A smile is on his face and soon, I am smiling too.
"Hi." I say and close the door behind him.
"I brought us dinner."
"I can see that." I walk into the kitchen and Liam follows me. He sets the pizza onto the table and I go grab two glasses and fill them with water. I set them on the table and we begin to eat. My stomach grumbles and I didn't even realize how hungry I am, until now.
"So, what have you been up to today?" Liam asks during us eating dinner.
"Nothing much, I've been to work, watched TV and ate when I got home. Then Andy called and we went to get coffee."
"Oh, really?" Liam raises his eyebrows and I nod.
"Yeah, it was good catching up with him a bit: even though our encounter had to be cut short due to him going somewhere."
"That's great to hear." I nod and we continue to eat in silence.
Soon, I am full and have no power left in me to even breathe. I feel like I am going to explode. Liam eats one more piece, so the pizza is gone from the box. We are just sitting on the chairs, not able to move for a few minutes.
I get up and take the empty box and stick it in the trash can after I am able to move and breathe correctly. Liam burbs loudly, which startles me. I look up to him and he has his hand over his mouth. I start to laugh at him and I see a smile on his face when he moves the hand away.
"Nice one." I say.
"You seriously don't mind burping?" Liam asks, confusion heard in his words.
"Noup, I am cool about it." I lean against the counter behind me. "Tina is the one who isn't a fan of it. She absolutely hates it."
"Yeah, I remember her scolding Chris about it at the restaurant." I nod, remembering the slight chaos she caused.
"Can we just go to sleep now?" I whine to Liam. "I am too full to function." Liam laughs from the table and gets up from the chair.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go watch a movie in your room." I push myself off the counter and exit the kitchen, Liam's hand smacking my ass in the process. I let out a squeak at the sudden naughty action. But Liam only has a smirk on his face, when I turn around and glare at him.
"What?" He shrugs his shoulders. "Your ass was practically screaming at me to smack it due to you being in only a top and underwear." I roll my eyes and open the door to my room.
Liam jumps onto the bed, making himself comfortable, while I get the computer and a few "movies". "Which one do you want to watch?" I throw the three DVDs onto his lap for him to choose.
