Alex's POV

"Alex? Alex?" A trio of voices echoed in my mind.

My body tingled and I began to have feeling again. The voices grew louder. My eyes opened to a blurry mess. I could make out three figures, but I couldn't tell who they were.

"Let's give him some air guys." A female voice said.

"Mmmmm." I grumbled as I sat up.

I felt an arm wrap around me for support.

"Alex?" Another female voice asked.

I rubbed my eyes and my vision started to clear. I was met by two familiar faces. Brittany and Austin were smiling at me, but they looked concerned too. Wait where was Hailey? I turned my head to see Hailey's beautiful green eyes staring at me with concern.

"Hailey! I thought I would never see you again." I said softly.

Her eyes began to water, but she was smiling so I assumed she was crying tears of joy.

"I thought I lost you." She said as I pulled her into a hug.

"Let's agree that we never leave each other okay?" I said.

She giggled, but agreed. She pulled away from the hug, but I pulled her back and kissed her.

"Awww." Brittany said.

"Alex! PDA man!" Austin yelled.

I broke from the kiss and smiled at Austin. I tried to stand up with the help of Hailey, but I was still a little wobbly. Before I hit the ground Austin ran over to my side to help support me.

"Thanks" I said.

"No problem."

Brittany's POV

I almost didn't want to leave our little "safe spot". I mean we're all together, we are safe for all I know and we're not out there getting ourselves killed! Although we found a place where we could calm down, I knew we needed to get out of this place. With Austin supporting Alex we all looked towards the door awaiting our next encounter with near death experiences.

"Are you guys ready?" I asked with a slightly shaky voice.

"I guess, what choice do we have?" Replied Austin.

Hailey and I locked arms as we stepped into the next room. Alex and Austin followed close behind. We were in a well lit hallway, with rusty old wallpaper torn down the sides. We followed the red carpet which lead us to three doors.

"Which one do we go through?" Hailey asked.

"I don't know."

"Those dolls aren't going to come back are they?" Alex asked.

"I hope not." Austin answered.

Hailey let go of my arm and looked at Austin for direction. He shrugged his shoulders. I decided to approach the doors and see if one was unlocked.

"Brittany! What are you doing?" Hailey yelled.

"Relax, I'm just seeing if one is unlocked."

I approached the left. I could hear them gasp as I slowly turned the knob. I glanced back at them before I continued. The knob wouldn't rotate.

"It's locked." I said as I turned to face them.

Hailey was clutching onto Alex's arm with her eyes closed, Alex was attempting to hide behind Hailey and Austin, well I don't know what he was trying to do. He looked like he was trying to block something that was coming at his face. I began to laugh at them and they quickly realized that nothing happened. Their faces turned red, which made me laugh even harder. Austin tried to play it cool like he wasn't scared and walked passed me to the middle door. I tried to contain my laughter as he turned the knob. I think he was expecting the door to be locked, because when it opened he fell to the ground. Now we were all laughing. Austin was clearly embarrassed as he got up and dusted himself off.
