Brittany's POV
The pain overwhelmed me as the werewolf tugged at my heels. Austin was holding on tight, squeezing my hand. The werewolf was too strong, taking Austin with me as I slid back out. I couldn't let Austin go down with me, Hailey and Alex needed him, so I did what I had to do... I let go. I was immediately ripped away from Austin. I could hear Austin screaming my name as I was thrown onto the hairy back of my enemy. The blood trickled down my back and heels as I was carried through the lighted halls. I tried to wiggle my way out of this, but the werewolf's grip was too tight. I began to feel weak, due to the loss of blood, but I didn't give up my fight. I continued to pound on the werewolf's back. My vision became blurry and the last I saw was a pleased witch and the memory of Austin's confused face when I let go, before everything went dark.
Hailey's POV
If I was going to get my sister back I knew I couldn't do it by sitting here crying. I turned my tears into determination and anger as I directed Alex and Austin towards a corner.
"Why are we stopping?" Alex asked.
"Yeah, every second we waste standing around is a second farther away from Brittany." Austin added.
"You don't think I know that! I want to get her back as much as you do, but we're not going to be able to do it without a plan!" I yelled.
"We don't need a plan!" Austin yelled back.
"Yes we do! We can't just wing it, that's just gonna get us all captured!" I yelled, clearly irritated.
"Fine! You want a plan? Well then here it is, we march in there get Brittany and get out!" He yelled.
"It doesn't work that way Austin!" I screamed.
"Guys stop it! We're never going to get Brittany back, the way you two are fighting! We must work together." Alex stepped in.
"Well her way is to time consuming and my way is much better." Austin mumbled.
"Yeah if you want to get killed." I said under my breath.
"What was that Hailey?" Austin asked irritated.
"Hey stop it!" Alex interrupted.
"We need a plan, that's the only way we're going to get in and out safely." I pushed.
"We're wasting too time already, we need to get going." Austin said as he began to walk away.
"I'm not going in there blind." I said, standing my ground.
"Fine! You do it your way and I'll do it mine! C'mon Alex let's go." Austin said as he turned his back to me.
"Alex?" Austin said as he realised Alex wasn't following.
"I'm sorry Austin, but Hailey's right. We can't just waltz right in and expect everything to be okay." Alex said.
"Fine! Be that way!" Austin screamed as he stormed off.
"Austin!" We yelled.
He never looked back as he disappeared from our line of sight.
"He's going to get himself killed." I said.
"Let's try not to think that way. What do you have in mind?"
"I saw this many times in movies and the first thing they do is determine how many enemies they have."
"Okay, so there's one werewolf."
"Two zombies."
"A witch."
