CHAPTER 12-Zombies and A Werewolf?

Hailey's POV

I am sorry, but when Brittany slammed into that glass wall and nearly did a back flip I couldn't help myself. It was just so funny seeing her so confused. Anyways we started to walk back, well technically forward, let's just say we began to walk back to the place where we decided to wait for the boys. Brittany walked with her hands out that way she wouldn't face plant again.

"You know you look really stupid walking like that right?" I laughed.

"Yes, but if you had that happen to you, you would be doing this too."

"Well it didn't, so no I would not be walking like that." I said confidently.

I probably should have been watching where I was going, because I didn't know there was stairs and I rolled down them.

"OMG! Hailey are you okay?" Brittany asked as she rushed down the stairs to my side.

"Yeah."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Brittany. It was only four stairs and they were even carpeted." I said.

A smile began to form on her face and I knew what was coming. I couldn't help, but join her as we laughed at my incident. We stopped laughing and Brittany helped me up.

"See that's the difference between you and me, I make sure you're okay before I start laughing while you laugh and then ask if I'm okay." Brittany said with a smile.

"Well... um... uh." I said trying to come up with a come back.

Brittany stared at me waiting for a response, but I had nothing.

"I got nothing." I said giving up.

"Ha!" She yelled.

"Can we just continue?" I asked.

"Yes." She said confidently.

I followed her lead as we walked down more stairs. It began to get darker and pretty soon we couldn't see anymore.

"Brittany?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She responded.

Okay good she's still there.

"Hailey what were you going to say?" Brittany asked annoyed.

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to make sure you were still there."

"Oh... Well then yes I am still here."

We could see some light at the end of the hall and directed ourselves toward it. When we were finally able to see we noticed we were in a room. The room was empty and had no windows or doors, well except for the one we just walked through, but you know what I mean.

"So I take it we need to turn around." I said with a whine.

"No duh captain obvious." Brittany laughed.

We turned to walk back to the door, but the door slammed shut. Brittany and I exchanged horrified looks.

"Brittany?" I said high pitched.

"I don't know Hailey, but if we stick together we'll be okay." She replied as if she knew what I was going to say.

The lights flickered and then everything went dark. An ear piercing cackle filled the room.

"Oh no..." I said remembering the last thing that happened when I heard that scream.

"Oh no what?" Brittany asked clearly frightened.

"Whenever I hear that laugh something horrible happens." I answered.

"Like with Alex?"

"Exactly."
