Alex's POV

I don't understand why Austin is so excited. I mean what's exciting about getting scared to the point where you're either going to pee your pants or give yourself a heart attack? I tried to take my mind off all the scary things that could be in the house by turning on the radio. The Friday song was on and Austin and I sang along to it. We arrived at the address. The parking lot was empty and I began to have a gut ach.

"Austin I have a bad feeling about this." I mumbled.

"Quit being such a girl." Austin said as he punched me on the arm.

"Ow."

"Come on I think that's the entrance." Austin said excitedly.

Before I could say anything he grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the start of a path.

Hailey's POV

Honestly I have no clue as to why I said yes. I hate haunted houses. I have this problem of freezing when I get scared and Brittany usually has to pull me. My mind says run, but my body doesn't receive that message. I hope that I don't do it here, because I don't want to get left behind. Brittany could see that my face paled and she turned the radio on. The Friday song played and that cheered me up. We sang along, but Brittany doesn't really know the lyrics so hearing her mess up made me laugh.

"We're here." Brittany said as she put the car in park.

"Oh God."

"You'll be fine, I will be right there with you." She tried to reassure me.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"I don't know."

"Hey there's two boys over by that trail maybe they're here for the haunted house too?" I suggested.

"Maybe. Let's go see, maybe we can buddy up with them."

That sounded like a good idea, because as we got closer their faces became clearer and they were really cute.

We approached the boys.

"Are you guys here for the haunted house too?" Brittany asked.

One of them jumped and made me giggle.

"Yah, you?" The boy with the curly hair said.

"Yup. I'm Brittany and this is my sister Hailey." Brittany introduced.

"Hi." I said.

"I'm Austin and this is my best friend Alex."

"Hey." Alex said.

Alex's eyes met mine and I smiled.

"Dibs on Alex." I whispered into Brittany's ear.

"Good, because I call dibs on Austin." She whispered back.

"Do you mind if we go in with you guys?" Brittany asked.

"Sure!" Austin said excitedly.

"Alright, what are we waiting for let's go!" Brittany yelled.

"Yay." I said sarcastically.

We walked down the trail and came upon an eerie old house. We all looked at each other and made our way inside.
