Hailey's POV
I was so glad to see Alex and Austin again! I seriously thought Brittany and I were dead meat. After we got to safety, my lips met Alex's. From the corner of my eye I could see Brittany had finally let Austin know how she felt, by giving him a kiss on the cheek. Hopefully Austin got the message. Why is it so difficult with those two? She likes him and I'm almost positive he likes her, so why can't they just kiss and make it official already? It's not that hard people! Well at least it wasn't for me. Anyways, Austin decided to be disgusting and played around with the dislocated zombie arm. I speak for everyone when I say we were all shocked, surprised, scared, frightened...whatever you want to call it when that arm started moving on its own. Brittany ended up on Austin's back while I ended up in Alex's arms as they ran as fast as they could with our weight, away from that thing. We didn't get very far. Alex and Austin were gasping for air.
"I wish we had some water right now." Alex said in between breaths.
"Yeah. Water sounds nice." Austin agreed.
"Some food would be nice too." Alex added.
"Oh yeah. A big subway sandwich with roast beef and Turkey and..." Austin said dreamily.
I zoned out along with Brittany as our stomachs growled desperately for food. We all sat lazily along the wall day dreaming about food.
"Okay stop your making me hungry!" Brittany and I yelled in unison.
We looked at each other and started to giggle. The boys joined us as we laughed. When we all finished getting our giggles out there was a little awkward silence, until I broke the ice.
"How long have we been stuck in here?" I asked.
"I don't know. Someone didn't let me grab my phone before we left." Alex said glaring at Austin in the dim light.
"I lost my phone when Austin and I fell. Wait what happened to your phone?" Brittany answered.
"I dropped it in the snake pit and I was not in the mood to dig through a bunch of slithering snakes to get it back." I answered.
"Hailey, you just got your phone! And it was the good one too." Brittany said.
"I know."
"Austin what about you?" Alex asked.
Austin reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone piece by piece, or at least what was left of it.
"What happened to your phone?" I asked shocked.
"Well it was a phone, until someone pushed me over the edge of the dumpster." He said looking over at Alex.
"I said I was sorry." Alex said.
"So much for knowing what time it is." I said.
"Austin isn't that a watch you're wearing?" Brittany asked.
"Yeah why?" He replied.
"Did you really just ask that?" Alex asked.
"Oh, duh! Sorry. It's four o'clock." Austin said.
"So we've been here for four hours." I confirmed.
"It feels like we've been in here for days." Brittany complained.
I started to yawn which caused everyone else to yawn as well. I tilted my head back in complete boredom hitting the wall. Although when I hit the wall it sounded more like I hit a metal door. We all turned to the wall in confusion.
"What was that?" Alex asked.
"I don't know." I said.
Brittany got up and turned to face the wall. We all got up and did the same. She approached the wall and knocked. Yup it was definitely metal. She started looking closely at the wall as if there was something faintly written on it.
