This was the fifth day that you hadn't moved from your bed. The fifth day of non showering, non eating and nothing much else apart from sleeping.

A few people came by the check on you of course, Tony stopped by with some fruit and a bottle of whiskey (that you drank within a night). Clint and Natasha came over with some Disney movies and food, not that you've ate any of it.

Thor stopped by with Bruce, Thor thrusted pop tarts at you and covered you with a rib crushing bear hug, wear as Bruce gave you a few books and a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Sam and Bucky dropped in, bringing nothing but gossip and awkward goodbye hugs and of course their insane banter.

Steve however came over every morning, lunch and night.

He always brought you food and gave you a hug good bye.

You decided to text your sister and say goodnight and that you love her. You would of called but she litterly couldn't speak, she could sign and so could you so occasionally you would Skype or face time her.

You quickly glanced at the clock by your bed.

5.23pm.

He wouldn't be over until seven and you decided that five days without a shower was far too long.

As soon as you stepped in the hot water flourished your skin, making you feel like a whole new person.

You tried your hardest not to think about why you were laid up in bed but you did anyway, and it only made you hate yourself more.

You knew you and your newly founded ex weren't going anywhere with the relationship but you fell in love with him anyways.

You and him were together for almost two and a half years.

And once you told him you were an Avenger he lost it and broke it off with you immediately. When you tried to defend yourself he ended up saying harsh things that weren't true and it broke your heart.

You didn't tell the team at first and Clint was the first to notice something was off and once you told them, they all insisted that you took a few days off for yourself.

Tony even made a remark about a vibrator because it was 'you time' and you had to 'find yourself' which caused everyone to grumble and get flustered besides Natasha who ended up gently punching him for you.

Fury had no complaints about you having a few days off and he even said you deserved it, and that made you a little suspicious because well... Fury is never nice unless it benefits him.

You heard a tap at your bedroom door and panicked slightly as you wrapped a towel around your body, being careful not to slip on the little puddles of water on the bathroom floor.

You gingerly opened your bedroom door with your gun in hand.

"Whoa just me!" Steve said throwing his hands up in the air.

"Oh, I thought you wouldn't be here until seven?" You asked placing your gun back in your pantie drawer.

"Its seven fifteen..." Steve said, raising his eyebrow questioningly.

"Oh.." You stuttered, looking at the clock beside your bed again.

7.17pm.

"You okay Y/N?" Steve's voice was laced with concern, he took a step forward and studied your face.
