See You Again
~~~~~
"You are not going on this mission!" Clint hollered at you from the other side of the common room.
"I'm pregnant, not deaf! I heard you the first fucking time!" You hollered back, completely oblivious to what you just said.
"Thanks Y/N." Clint said bluntly before turning around and getting as far away from you as possible, aka the vents.
You huffed out the breath you had been holding in and collapsed on the sofa. You cradled your stomach in your small hands. It hadn't gotten that big yet, even though you were six months gone you could still fit in your uniform there for you didn't see a problem with coming along on the mission.
"Sweetheart... You hurt bird brains feelings." Tony said sympathetically as he gingerly sat down beside you. He had became very careful around you since everyone found out you were having a baby. It somewhat pissed you off.
"Tony... As I keep saying I'm pregnant not made of glass." You huffed out again, taking one of your hands off your small belly you took a few blueberries Tony had offered you.
"You know he's only looking out for you and the baby." Tony sighed as he popped the small fruit in his mouth.
"I know but its my-"
"No. Its his baby as much as it is yours Y/N." For Tony being drunk 75.69% of the time he was still pretty wise.
"I wasn't implying that, I just meant if I can still train then I can fight." You smiled, hoping this would sway Tony.
"Y/N, the bad guys arent gonna go as easy on you as us." Tony smiled apologetically, he knew you wanted to go on this mission but no one would risk it, especially Clinton.
You huffed out an exaggerated groan. You knew he was right, he almost always was.
"I know... I just don't want to leave Clint on his own." You admitted, you looked down at your stomach and nearly started to tear up.
"Natasha will have his back don't worry. Bird brain junior wont grow up with out daddy bird." Tony grinned, Steve and himself at gone over every aspect that could and could not happen just to be absolutely sure.
"Okay. I trust you." You smiled widely before Tony pulled you into a warm hug.
"You should go see he's okay." Tony said, it was more of an order than a suggestion.
You nodded in reply and attpemted to stand up.
"Need a push?" Tony chuckled behind you.
"Just shut up and help me up, otherwise baby bird wont know he has an uncle Tony." You jokingly threatened, your wide smile giving you away.
"Sure thing." Tony chuckled again while helping you up.
You took a slow walk to your shared bedroom, gingerly running you hand over the name plaques of the bedrooms.
You finally reached your roomed and climbed onto the bed, placing your feet shoulder width apart you tapped on the vent above you.
