"What're you doing?" I ask August through the phone.

"About to head out what your fine ass doing?" He ask laughing.

"Shit sitting here eating Oreos the girls coming up here soon though".

"Ya fat ass" he says laughing.

I laugh "Why not ? Got a few papis willing to drop a few bands on me all I got to do is say the word".

"Kaley shit ain't funny I'll fuck you up" he says chuckling.

"You so damn aggressive I like that shit baby" I say smirking.

"Chill on that I'll forget what I'm doing come over there and break you off" He says.

"Come on over daddy" I say egging him on.

He laughs "Already hooked on it?".

After my conversation with August I put the rest of the Oreos away I are half the pack sitting here talking on the phone. Soon as I'm about to sit down there's a knock at the door. I check the camera monitor once confirming its the girls I go open the door.

"Welcome ladies" I say.

"Get dress we going to a party" Tavia says. "Who party?" I ask.

"People girl out in the hood so come on get dress in something cute" Channa says.

I mental roll my eyes as I make my way to my room. It's too damn hot out here to be trying to be cute. I pick out some shorts and a black cami.

"That's simple , yet cute lets go girl" Channa says.

"Ain't it fight night ?" I ask remembering August said something about that.

"Yeah it's going to be packed as fuck ! Your man going ?" Channa ask.

"I assume so , I'm going to ask him".

"How your dad ?" Tavia ask.

"He good , haven't talked to him much" I say. Ever since my father found out about what August did and the fact that I'm still with him my father doesn't check on me like he used too.

"If this party lame we leaving " Channa says.

"I agree cause Tavia people be on some other shit" I say laughing.

"Man it won't be lame , y'all two just can't hang".

We pull up to the hood of course there's mad cars packed outside who ever house it is.

"Damn everybody and they mama up in here" I say making my way.

"Told y'all the hood don't play about this shit , every requested the day off for this bitch" Tavia says.

"Where's Alana at ?" I ask looking around.

"I don't know but I see someone heading your way and he got a big ole girl on his face" Channa laughs.

I turn around and see my baby heading towards me. I can't help but to start smiling. He pulls me into a hug holding me tightly as if he didn't want to let go.

"I missed you too" I say giggling.

"Where the rest of yo shorts at?" He ask looking at me side ways.

"Lucky it's hot as fuck out here other than that I would have been taking yo ass right back to find something different" He says laughing.

I laugh, "Whatever August , you gonna dance with me ?"

"Let me go get something to drink , you want
something ?" He ask.

"Get me some fruit punch please".

"Cool be back" He says then kisses my forehead.

"We were looking for you" I say.

"Not with you all booed up with August big head ass you weren't".

I stale face her. "Leave my baby alone" I say laughing .

"I heard unc saying you ain't been calling him and stuff" Alana says.

I roll my eyes, "I've called my father a few times but, he ain't answer and the one time he did he talking about he'll call me later cause he busy".

"Maybe you should just go visit him" She suggests.

I know she's trying to bring our family closer again. But my father must realize that I am a grown women and chose to be with who I want to be.

I take a deep breath in and let it out. I'm not trying to hear all this right now where is August to take me away form these cray people.

"Where is your man?" Alana ask.

"Hell if I know he was getting me and him something to drink but he been gone a few minutes"I say shrugging my shoulders.

I feel hands go around my eyes. I feel the pair of hands and start smiling knowing exactly who it is.

"I wonder who this could be?" I say being sarcastic.

"I told you I'd be back baby" He says kissing my cheek.

"Took forever too".

"Shut up girl " August says before kissing me.

"Where you went ? And where my drink at? " I ask being nosy.

"To get this" He says pulling s box out from behind him.

"Oh wow! This is beautiful baby" I say on the verge of tearing up.

"Just like you" He says kissing me. "Let me help you out it in baby girl".

I turn around lifting my hair up so that way August can place it around my neck.

"You look amazing baby girl" August says.

"Thank you baby" I say tippy toeing to give him a kiss.
