I opened the room door.

"Hello Frida." Anna called me.

"Hey there!" I saw Anna with another darling in her hands. As I was staring at them, a little girl came running to me.

"Aunt Frida!!! I'm a big sister now!!!"

"Hey there Linda. Yep. You are a big sister now just like your mom and I." I hugged Linda. I carried her. I looked at Anna and champ-champ. "How are you feeling?"

"Better... It is actually easier this time." She looked at her son. "Champ-champ! It's Aunt Frida."

"Hey there champ-champ! Gosh! What took you so long?" We laughed.

"He got so attached to mommy." Anna giggled.

"Welcome to the world kiddo. We're gonna have some ice cream soon."

"Really? Can I join you?" Linda asked while pulling my shirt.

"Of course you'll be joining us. I know how much you and mommy like ice cream. And I bet your little brother champ-champ likes ice cream too." I touched her face then pinched it.

"Awwww... He smiled. He wants it too." Anna looked at me. "Isn't he adorable?"

"As adorable as his mother..." I jokingly told Anna. Nope. I meant it.

"Frida..." She blushed.

"And like his big sister too, right Aunt Frida?" Linda cut her mother.

"Yes, sweetie. You were as cute as him when you were a baby, but now, you're cute and beautiful."

Linda giggled like her mom. I put the little girl down then asked her to sit down.

"Hello again champ-champ! What's your name?" I asked the little guy.

Anna played with her voice, making herself sound like a child. "Hi Aunt Frida! My name's Christian."

We both laughed. "You named him after his dad?"

"Well, kind of yeah..." She looked at me. "Hey Frida. I am glad you're here. I always feel happy with you. You're supportive, caring, and loving."

"Remember the big sister...who acts like your mother?" I quoted what she said before.

"Very funny, Frida. Can I tell you something?"

"Sure."

"I love you." She paused. "...as my big sister and best friend. I wanna thank you for supporting me all the way. I still thank you although sometimes I annoy you with my slowness in learning. Sorry for being that way, and even being mad at you for being late in the morning. Thank you that I have someone to talk to when no one's around. There are too many things to be thankful for, but you're the best best friend I ever had."

I was touched by what she said. I didn't know how to feel. I was happy. I felt love overflowing. "How long have we known each other?" I asked her.

"Almost ten years..."

"That long? Really?" I was stunned.

"Well, yeah... You were there when I got engaged. You were there when I got married. You were there when I had these angels. Just count Frida."

"You're actually right. I've been that patient with my little sister for that long?"

"And I've been taking care of a very naughty big sister... haha!!!"

"Very funny Anna... I'm glad I've been with you for years. I thank you for acceptance. I thank you for friendship, patience, and love. You're just a wonderful person to be with." I looked at her. "Oh! And congratulations!"

She was confused.

"Well, you said to congratulate you after this. Remember?"

"Oh that!" She laughed. Then she talked to her son, "Sometimes Aunt Frida gets silly."

"Hey! I'm not. Can I say something?" I changed my tone.

"What?"

"I'm proud of you." I pat her shoulder.

"You really sound like my mom. You are funny."

"You're a fighter. You are strong. That's why I like you." I sounded differently now. The momentum is coming back.

"Aww... Frida. You inspired me to be this strong every day."

"Don't be silly..."

"But it's true big sister..."

"You do the same thing to me." I smiled at her then to Christian, who was actually falling asleep. "Little sis, champ-champ's about to sleep now. Why don't you take a nap? I'll take care of your angels." I also noticed Linda's eyes were about to close.

"Are you sure? Just wake me up if he's hungry. I love you big sister."

"I love you too little sister. Sleep well you three..."

She put her son on a crib beside her. Then she peacefully slept. I went to Linda, and just fixed her position for her to sleep well.

It was just peaceful. Three angels were sleeping inside the room. But I couldn't let go of my gaze over the woman I love.

"I will always love you...Don't forget that." I whispered to her ear. I heard her moan a little.

As I was reading a novel while guarding them, I heard Anna sleeptalking. "Frida..."

"Are you calling me?" I whispered back.

"I love you..." then she went back to her sleep.

Does that mean she feels the same way?

She and I were just going strong as sibling-like best friends.

She and I were inspired by each other.

She and I liked each other.

She and I loved each other, but was it the same as mine?

That's my story for now. :)
