The Person I Admire Most

1982. A year of endings and beginnings.

Earlier that year Björn and Benny welcomed their respective kids with their new women. It was not odd at all. Anna and I were just plainly happy for them, though I knew she felt down.

As we were talking about that while on break for the video shoot, I told her: "I will always be here when you need me, love."

Her frown was turned upside down after hearing those words. "Frida, I know. I just had those moments that I missed him." Then she stood up from her chair and hugged me. "I love you, Frida."

"I love you too sweetie." I held her shoulder, then asked her, "Can I have a kiss before we go back?"

"You're so..." she bit her lip again. Then she sighed. "How am I gonna resist you?" She looked up, "Frida! A shooting star!"

"Where?" I looked back, but there was none. So I looked back at her, but her face was already close to mine. She was anticipating that kiss. And she tricked me for a kiss!

"Oh Anna! You got my moves now huh?"

"But I love you..."

"Fine...I know...I know." I kissed her cheek and hugged her one more time. "Let's get back to the shoot, babe."

"Okay, sweetie." We let go of each other, and I held her hand as we walked back to the set.

"Now that is sweet," Björn saw us.

Benny looked at me as if he wanted to ask permission to tell them what is exactly going on between Anna and I. I raised one eyebrow, then I let it meet with the other. I just rejected the idea of it.

At the right time... I let Benny read my lips. Then he nodded.

Things were just the same during our video shoots. It even happened when we're inside the car. We sat beside each other. Cameras were able to capture some of these moments. I fell for her more every day. She did the same every moment she leaned her head on my shoulder.

During this year, Anna and I were beginning our individual careers. I began with my solo English album while she acted on a film. Though we were distant at time, we tried to contact each other on the phone.

I surpised her sometimes by visiting her.

Anyway, there was this scene from The Day Before You Came when we were inside a theater. Do you remember that it seemed like a love triangle on stage? Perhaps when you screencap it, you'll just find it funny. She chose me. Those were the words in my thoughts. After that shoot, we shared a long session inside the dressing room.

Oh! My album got released that year too. Anna was actually proud of it. She kept on telling me that I did great. I Know There's Something Going On is just my story. Well, almost... :)

Months have passed, the four of us no longer enjoyed the life in the studio anymore. We simply considered this as the end. Married relationships were ended, but it somewhat affected our work. We tried to be professional, but it just didn't work out. We just had to accept and let go of everything.

Did I mention that I made Björn jealous? No? And that rehearsed interview? No too?

It was one moment when we were out for an interview. Well, it was a break. I kept on hugging Anna from behind. Björn glared at me. Benny didn't dare to look after what almost became a fight between us earlier.

After a few moments, Anna also kept on holding and playing with my hand. She even hugged me. We even reached the point of almost kissing, as she was stroking my short purple hair in front of the guys. I noticed Björn's annoyed look. "What happened to you ladies? Are you drunk?"
