Those who wish to bleed must abide the following rules:
1. Blood does not bicker, argue, or harass fellow blood.
2. Blood may not clot and group together to "take out" another competitor. Your writing will award you, not the politics behind it.
It has been a festering problem in the world of Author Games in this year, and our judges will not hesitate to take action upon anyone.
3. Blood does not complain once eliminated.
All of our judges swear to be 100% unbiased on every task and to every player. We do not pick favorites. We do not make things easier on people just because we like them outside of the Games. Saying such a thing will, however, make this a very bumpy ride for us all. If you feel like one of our judges is being unfair to you or that you were eliminated unfairly, then you may privately message either them personally, or this account. We will listen, but it is unlikely the results will be altered.
4. Blood stays consistent in formatting and does not seek pity.
The only requirements in an email is your Wattpad username, task number, and character name on the subject line. You may format the actual entry however you want, but know we do not have the time nor patience to fix things that go awry.
No vote-begging. Ever.
6. Blood is punctual.
Failure to hand in a task leads to an automatic elimination. There are no strikes in these Games, for the more deserving (those who have written) will forego voting against someone who didn't hand in. Deadlines are strict, with no extensions without emergency, so write within the limit we give you.
7. Blood has the pride to seek help.
The inboxes of our judges are always open for anything you may need! Th main hosts this time around are MyNameIsInigoMontoya and lostwithmyfriends , so ask them any questions and they'll get back to you.
Grading Rubric (1-15):
0: You didn't turn it in.
1-3: You did very little work or your writing was poor. Poor writing includes bad characterization, bad dialogue and little to no effort put into it. If you only write one paragraph and turn that in, it will immediately be placed here, no matter how good it is.
4-6: Your writing reflected minimal effort. If you fall here, you have bad characterization, and dialogue, or a bit more effort placed into it.
7-9: Your work was average at best, but something's still missing, or you definitely need to get your head in the game.
10-12: This is the range we expect most of you to fall under. Getting a lower score does not mean you are a bad writer, but that you did not try hard enough to apply yourself. A score in this range reflects a good amount of time and effort put into each task.
13-14: Your writing goes above and beyond, but still needs a little push to perfection.
15: Seek out a publisher.
