The Timeline
Day One
Thursday, 9:00 am
Caroline Withers wakes, eyes sullen and grey, arms unable to move. The words she speaks are short, quiet, and only when leaning in can Gareth hear. There is a morbidity in the air, both from the still of wind and thoughts thought unwillingly. Will she die?
11:00
Gareth leaves her side. He is hesitant and scared for the sake of his love, also enraged she may never know the full scale of his beating heart. It is wavering for her- quickly. Gareth goes to a man he knows has knowledge; a plan must be laid.
12:00
Alexander Pierce opens his door.
12:00
Pemele Herem leaves her home to enter another, ignoring her mentor's possible death. She does not care for Caroline, nor does she foreshadow the continuance of her breaths. To Pemele, the quicker darkness shrouds, the quicker it leaves.
She wants it to end.
1:00
An hour has past and Gareth knows too much, now. Caroline is dying because of their own pacifism- the lack of new blood is killing the woman. It seems unnatural, impossible.
He leaves.
1:45
Pemele arrives at her destination. The middle of town.
2:15
Gareth is frantic and messy when he shoves down the door of Davidson. He is not surprised to see Pemele in his arms, but it does not matter. Caroline matters; this new day matters. They speak until night falls, all three in agreement. The clan must thrive; their kind must grow.

THE TASK
Welcome, to the beginning of Nocturne!
As you may have noticed when filling out the forms, you were told to not talk about when you were turned. Your background was to consist of your human past, what your character was like, because everything about them changes now.
Your task is to turn.
Whether it be a bite or some other way you see fit, your character must go through the traumatic experience of becoming a vampire. Who turns you does not matter, but it cannot be Gareth, Pemele, or Davidson. Create the monster yourself.
Try to show a before and after experience- what changes within them once their world shatters?

DEADLINE
Saturday, August 13th at 7pm, PDT
This is an extremely long deadline. We expect much from you.
ON EXTENSIONS
For these games, most will need to be punctual. 24-hour extensions will not be given to everyone; only the sponsored receive the perk of more time. Entries will be docked one point per every hour it is late.
SPONSORSHIPS
Overall, seven of you will be sponsored by the various leaders. Sinbad will also be giving perks to those who show improvement from task to task; those who are sponsored may not be given Sinbad's prizes.
