THE TASK
As you may have noticed, no kills have been recorded for this task. That is because we received a vote at the very last minute that left us with a perfect tie. Rather than break it, we decided to be merciful and let everyone up for votes through to this round. Congratulations, Zoe, Kylar, and Jane. The stars perfectly aligned for you three-- literally.
The Task is simple. Upon the creation of this new vampire, your character panics. This newly made creature can't possibly survive on its own, it's your responsibility now. So where do you go for help? The Clan. Those of you who left expect to be despised by your desertion, those of you who stayed may only feel as if you've somehow exposed the clan to the world. Either way, you have no reason to fear. You will be welcomed and accepted with open arms.
And in your honor, in light of everything, there will be a feast.
What a happy and rare occasion it will be! Everyone is there to celebrate you. And in order to do that, they've pulled out all the stops. Ten humans, men, women, and children, have been brought into the Clan for this particular feast. Don't worry, they can't run away. Drink to the memory of your friends. Drink to the memory of your leaders.
In this task, your character will experience some of the more addicting effects of the blood they drink. They will experience a blood high-- a mildly hallucinogenic side effect that, while harmless, is undeniably addicting. They will see things, hear things, maybe even smell things, that are not there. If blood and guts isn't your thing, you can spend most of the task on what happens when they reach this state. The only other requirement is this: after they reach this high, they have to make a choice. Keep drinking, despite the lives they're taking, or stop. This choice will effect those who make it into the finals, so be sure to include it.
