Puppy love

"Momma!" Roland shouted as he ran to his mom getting out of the car. "Hi baby!" She said as she picked him up. "How was your day?" She asked as she kissed his cheek. "It was good! We have a surprise for you inside momma!" Roland said excitedly. "You do?" She asked, hoping it wasn't a home cooked dinner. They tried to cook her lasagna once and the house almost burnt down in flames. "Come on momma its inside!" He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the house. "Papa, momma's home!" Roland yelled excitedly as he ran into the living room. "What this surpr.." Regina started to ask, but stopped. In the middle of the room there was a puppy lying in a dog bed rolled over with its stomach showing. She looked at Robin with a questioning look. "It's a puppy!" He said smiling nervously. "I can see that." She said as she walked closer to it. It was a little corgi puppy, and it was adorable. She had told Robin that she wanted to get a dog a few months back, but she didn't think he would go out and surprise her with one. "Momma look," Roland said as he got one of its toys and starting playing tug of war with the dog. "I know I see," she said laughing. "I can't believe you got me a dog." She said looking back at Robin. "You know if you want something, I'm gonna get it for you eventually," She just smiled. "Happy birthday milady. " Robin said as he kissed her lips. "Thank you thief."
